Helrenthrad let go of Elrond and crawled into celeborn's lap and just simply attempted to cuddle with his grandfather "Legolas upset me" Helrenthrad said and just seemed to embrace him in a hug and let out a yawn he was exhausted from crying.

Galadriel stands up and walks over to Celeborn and Helrenthrad. She sits by them with a smile at the two.

Celeborn looked down at the boy and held him close, feeling a sort of sympathy for the child. He had just been through more than any 6-year-old should have to endure. The silver-haired Elf exchanged a quick glance with Galadriel, then turned back to his grandson, "I know, Helrenthrad." he sighed. "The young prince spoke without a thought. I am certain he will come to apologize," he said with a somewhat pointed glance at Legolas, raising his voice slightly so that the son of Thranduil could hear. Then he softened his tone somewhat as he added: "In his heart, Legolas will come to love you, as I did when I first laid eyes on you. You are a rather difficult Elfling to dislike, after all." he noticed the boy looked quite tired, and gave him a gentle stroke. "...but right now, you should rest."

Tauriel gave a brief nod, looking at Kili and finding herself slipping her hand into his yet again. His presence was just so comforting, and she truly enjoyed his company. She laughed at his remark, mirth dancing in her eyes. "Anything that can pair a Dwarf with an Elf is most certainly weird," she consented playfully.

"I see what I have done was wrong," he said, turning to Saelweth, "and that I owe you an apology, but I would appreciate a little compassion. I too have been through quite a lot today. I almost lost my father today." He then walked over to the young elf sitting in Celeborn's lap. "And I am very sorry to you young elfling. As an apology, would you care to learn to shoot a bow?" he said calmly, his voice full of regret.

Kili nodded then asked "Do you still have the ruinstone I gave you the day Smaug was killed? Do you remember that horrible day..." His mind wandered back to the day, where later on he would almost lose Fili, Thorin, and himself.

"only if you apologize to faeron and raise a saber-cat as punishment" Helrenthrad said and yawned looking at him and added "i forgive you but don't run off again it makes people upset and people shouldn't be upset and you shouldn't upset people it's bad. Can I rest now i'm tired." Helrenthrad said

Faeron looked at helrenthrad that idea seemed worth it and he knew that it would give legolas a greater appreciation for animals he raised so to him it was reasonable. "I supossed it's reasonable what helrenthrad just said I cannot actually forgive you just yet for this but I will with time so do not fret over that" Faeron said shutting the eyes of his dead pet and muttering a few words quenya. before taking the collar off the great saber cat and putting it in his pouch. he sighed heading over to salima who seemed to have a saber cat cub it was helrenthrad's following her around and another saber cat cub specifically a small one with white stripes that faeron picked up "Saber cats make great companions and grow up into great mounts as well they are also good at following orders if trained well." Faeron said

Saelweth was still seething with anger at this point she was finding it hard to do anything but yell it was lucky for legolas that she'd strained her voice enough to actually not yell any longer though she was still angry that much was clear but she was unable to yell any longer. Saelweth wordlessly picked thd cordial and handed it too thranduil before ss copying close enough to lean on thranduil which she promptly did she was trying calm down but it seemed th as t even taking deep breaths wasn't improving her mood.

Celeborn nodded slowly, mulling over the idea in his head before concluding that this would be an appropriate punishment for Legolas. The prince had spoken his heart, but discipline was in order, and it was most likely the first step to appeasing Saelweth. He bent a single corner of his mouth downwards in a slight frown. He was well-accustomed to witnessing arguments and dissent among other races, but to see his own people misbehaving in such a way was personal and saddening. I thought we taught them better. Still, there were important matters to attend to, and sentiment would have to wait for the moment. "I believe a council is in order," he announced, standing at his full height. "After today's events, it is clear that action must be taken. Lord Thranduil, Lady Saelweth and her son were captured by Orcs, who spoke of dark omens and who sought to destroy the Snow Elves' fortress. And very shortly after, Elion arrived and collapsed," he explained, referring to the collapsed Savannah Elf on the ground. "The question is: what should be done about it?" All the Elven lords and ladies were already present; the matter was urgent, and there was no better time to consult them.

Tauriel blinked. The question had caught her off guard - but of course she had it. She wouldn't have parted with it for the world. It carried a special sentimental value for her now, and she handled it with care as she produced it from the forest green folds of her attire. "Yes, I have it right here," she replied simply, gently pressing it into the palm of his hand as if to prove that the runes were still there. "Precious and pure as it was the day you gave it to me." Unfortunately, she remembered the majority of that day quite clearly...so many lives had been taken that day. The casualties weighed heavily on her heart. "I wish I could've saved every last soul that day," she whispered, distraught. She could hear Celeborn's distant voice announcing a council, but all she could think about at the moment was the love of her life standing next to her.

Elion seemed to regain consciousness despite his frail state he to react to where he was by shifting back into his wolf form and letting out a snarl and growl he did not want to be touched at the moment he was still quite confused as to why there where ton of elves concentrated in one area he remember celeborn being there and glanced around before curling up in a ball on ground Elion was more like a wild animal then a king at this moment. but he seemed to start licking a one of his front paws and although that was odd for an animal whose true form was an elf it seemed that it was animal instinct that he was just licking an irritation on his paw it was plainly obvious the fur was red in that spot.

helrenthrad curiously looked around from his grandfather's arms and yawned he seemed to close his eyes and bury his face in celeborn's shoulder.


Saelweth looked celeborn she wasn't ready to make any big decisions yet she didn't know what to say about it. "We prepare for war it's all that we can do and honestly I feel as if Snowveil castle is the best place to fight it from but I have only been queen of my people for a short time so I do not know if that is even the best course of action." Saelweth said her voice sounding quite strained from yelling at legolas she moved closer to thranduil and let herself lean on his shoulder once again his presence seemed rather calming too her at moment. she glanced at elion who was acting quite strange for the moment.

Legolas smiled at the young elf and nodded. He took the childs hand and said "Come, the important elves are talking now. Let's leave them to discuss matters without us there to distract them." He smiled, as he meant no harm nor disrespect by the statement. He smiled at the elves, apology in his eyes. He lead the little elf of into the forest nearby, knowing shooting trees was a good place to start.

He shook his head and said firmly "You did more than any of us dwarves, you saved me, my brother, and Thorin. Tauriel, you saved many lives that would have been lost if you weren't there. My darling, my kin and I will be forever greatful to you." He smiled and closed her hand over the ruinstone, as he had done the day he gave it to her. "Good," he whispered, "I wouldn't want anyone else to have it."

maethriel approached the group in her wolf form she too had zebra following her and her first reaction was to shift back into her true form and looked at Celeborn she was unable to speak mostly because she was deaf but she could telepathically speak she glanced at legolas the young prince of mirkwood was quite handsome it was plainly obvious where maethriel's loyalty lay it was with elion. she seemed to glance at legolas and the young elfling and shift to her wolf form wandering off after them and leaving her zebra with the others she wasn't so sure she wanted to know about the situation and was genuinely curious about legolas.

Helrenthrad nodded at him walking off with him celeborn had put him down to speak with the rest of the adults under normal circumstances the kid would have stayed with his grandfather but it wasn't something he needed to hear. "if i fall asleep will you carry me" Helrenthrad said
