Just like every other experiment.While in the lab, she had a crush on one of the boys. She would always get caught staring at him, and sometimes he would smile back. When they got loose, one soldier had shot him down, killing him in the heart. Grace never saw him again, or his body. She just moved with the remaining experiments and stood quietly in the back.
Phobias;
Grace hates large crowds, or being squished. She cant stand noisy environments, and in one she starts to gain major headaches.

Powers;
She has the power to shape shift into a snow leopard. Though, when hurt badly or a large amount of time has passed, she'll change back to human. When she changes back to human, she is always without any clothes. That's why she always wears a cape, or takes of a majority of her clothing.
Another thing Grace can do is control her temperature. If its too hot out, she can change her body heat to be colder. Or if its too cold out, she can warm up her body. She can only do this with herself, unless she gains a tight bond with someone close.
