Asami shook her head slightly, which could have been taken as a negative if her expression hadn't been the picture of amusement. She couldn't think of anyway that she could possibly get better at archery but the idea of trying wasn't such a bad one. "Sounds like a good idea, who knows maybe if I have a bow that is actually my size it might help" she mused. Her bright mood was diminished by Kairi. While she had been calm and gentle and trying to make thing more positive, something that Reiko backed her up with their own tranquil demenor, Kairi was once again harsh and negative. All the negativity was sapping her strength and she almost seemed to withdrawn in herself for a moment. When she had drawn on her own inner strength and positivity she fixed Kairi was a calm expression. "You seem to be misunderstanding us because I'm not going by your words. I'm going by the tone of your voice and your body language, which combined with your words tells me you don't want to talk to us. For what reason I don't know, and I could be wrong I am not the best at reading people but it seems fairly clear to me. As for moving, now I really do want to move because your negativity is over the top for a simple conversation. Not to anyone who gets angry over a simple inquiry and claim that the question means she is weak isn't someone I really want to be friends with. I am sorry if that is harsh but lashing out at us isn't the way to make friends" she said quietly. Her voice was soft and gentle and kind even though she was really uncomfortable with what was going on. Turning her attention to the rest of the train she nodded to a couple of empty spots. "How about over there, those spots look like they are open"

Chihiro glanced over at Suyin just in time to see her sunny expression dim and he felt a rush of guilt. He had been the one to kill her mood but he didn't know what to say to help, he had been a bit blunt but it was true. The signs were there, the airbender had wanted to tell the younger one about the comet alone. That seemed kind of fishy to him but it wasn't like he could have done anything about it. However instead of saying anything else along those lines he instead turned to look out at the water as he looked for a place to pause. He still was listening to Suyin who brought up the idea of gaining their trust, it was something Chihiro knew they needed to do and fast if they wanted to travel with the air benders. "If we can find a way to gain their trust it would be best. If anyone knows were the avatar might be it would be airbenders. It might be best to lay all our cards on the table. Maybe if we are honest with them then they will listen to us" he replied. It wasn't something he really wanted to do but it might be best to hear it from them then a stranger. Besides telling the truth might earn some modicum of respect fromt he airbenders. Sure it would be tough to get by the fact that he was the exiled prince of the fire nation and Suyin was the daughter of commander Akiro. Both would be hard to trust and yet revealing their identities might just help their cause instead of hurting it.

Kazuya was a bit surprised to find out that Zopa had only guessed at his identity but that didn't mean he regretted confirming it. After all he would have had to say something about being the avatar eventually. He couldn't help the very tiny shake of his head at what Zopa had to say. He was still too caught up in his own mind to really hear what Zopa was saying. Sure he heard the words but they didn't really feel like something he deserved to hear, not that he was going to let the other airbender know that. In his experience self deprecating words and actions were either meet with pity or with disdain, neither of which he wanted so he just let the words roll past him. Which was a little rude to the other airbender but he wasn't really thinking about that part. It was then he fully realized that Zopa had made his way up to stand near him and was offering their hand. The offered hand was hard to refuse but he was too far deep into his own self hatred right now to feel like he was allowed to take the comfort or even express that he needed it. Between his lack of reaction to the hand and his carefully passive presence Zopa returned to the saddle. Though if that was solely due to his lack of response of it was because the other airbender had been standing on a in flight flying bison he wasn't sure. What the older airbender suggested made sense to him. "I have already mastered airbending. Logically speaking I should try and learn firebending next since if we can trust those two then they are best option" he said thoughtfully and bit distantly. His gaze flickered down the the boat bellow them. He was hoping that they could trust the two firebenders, after all if he was going to save the world he needed to learn their bending and quickly.
