Stephanie gave a small smile the woman as she sat down before going back to her food, "Lopunny, give her back the treats" She warned as she sat her bookmark up and set it into her messenger bag, taking out her sketching notebook, she started to sketch the Arcanine quickly, roughly doing an outline before starting with the details, casually taking peeks at it as she sketched it, admiring it's size and handsome looks.

Selina started to fully release the huge boulder on the tiny rock, steadily and carefully, her eyes closed, she was ignoring everything around her, slowly balancing it and releasing... Releasing it... She was holding it by what was equivalent to her pinky as she kept the boulder steady, releasing it, she then picked a boulder behind her, it floated past her, right over her head and onto the rock, at a different angle, opposite to the one balancing on the small rock, slowly balancing it atop the other boulder, she used Alakazam's power to keep the one below steady as she balanced them carefully.

Caelan sets up her video camera. She's never gotten footage of Alakazam's psychic powers before. But it wasn't the Alakazam that had her interested, it was the trainer, who also seemed to be exhibiting Psychic powers.

Kusi drinks her tea leaning back in the char tugging at her beanie, her Arcanine seems to notice the girls attention and almost seems to be posing for her. Kusi spots this and laughs at him before looking at the girl. "Sorry about him, he can be a bit of a diva."

Suddenly, telepathically, Alakazam warned her of the person behind them, "Why are you recording someone without their permission?" She asked, distractingly as she let the boulders balance before releasing them, so they were unnaturally stacked together.

Stephanie startled a bit before giving a sheepish smile, "Sorry, I've never seen such a handsome Arcanine before and I wanted to sketch him really quick, I prefer him to pose though, it makes it better then just a bad, normal pose" She explained as she glanced at her own pokemon, who were starting to fight over the poketreats, "Hey, hey, you two, stop" Splitting the remains of her cookie, she handed it to the two and they accepted it gladly, "There ya go, no fighting" She said with a smile before turning back to Kusi, "They like to fight over little things but they're best friends" She explained with a friendly smile as she continued sketching the Arcnine.

"Eek! S-Sorry, I was just researching your Alakazam's psychic-" suddenly, there's a massive explosion that sends all three of them flying. "W-What was that?"

As Selina startled, the boulders tumbled and fell to the ground, splashing in the water while Alakazam sent out a psychic pulse out to locate the source, telepathically making a path, Selina and Alakazam made a pathway to the resulting crater from whatever the explosion was caused by, the dust was still in the air making it hard to see, so she made a small psychic bubble around her as a shield but it was still hard to see.

"Heh, its nothing Im sure hes happy to pose, you should see him and Hounddoom fight, its scary. But also funny." Kusi smiles as her Aracanine proudly parades around too the front of Stephanies table standing firmly on all fours his spine straight looking straight at her, his large eyes would be intimidating if it wasnt for Kusis words. "Hes a big softy dont worry." Kusi sips on her tea the tomboy turning sitting side on in her seat her legs up over the arm rest as she leant back against the other watching her Arcanine and laughing.

Viridian City. Such a pleasant town so close to Pallet Town. So close to the place from where trainers would begin their journey in Kanto. It was also the place where trainers were said to have their most difficult challenge awaiting them. Not that Alto would agree with them, for all challenges were equally difficult. it was all about perspective in the end. From Alto's perspective, all gyms were made equal. Pewter boasted the first wall, one that could not be easily overcome unless one was truly prepared to fight through every obstacle in their way. Then came Cerulean, home to the gym that boasted a more fluid style. Rather than punching straight on through, one needed to prove they were flexible and could adjust their strategy in the midst of battle. Third was Vermilion, where they had to endure hardships to get to the top and succeed. Fourth was Celadon, where trainers truly experienced growth beyond who they were a minute before. Fifth was Fuchsia, where the trainers learned that many things could get them down in life. Only by picking themselves back up again could they hope to reach their goals. Sixth was Saffron, where each trainer learned the limits of their minds. Here, the leader was incredibly gifted with a mental fortitude Alto could say surpassed his own. Then, just before they reached Viridian once again, trainers had to prove that they were passionate about achieving their goals and could not let anything stop them. With all these lessons about overcoming obstacles, what could possibly be so hard about getting through the Viridian Gym? The fact that it was no longer about what the trainer wanted to do so much as how strong a bond the trainer had formed with their pokemon. Quite a few had passed through all the challenges before them only to fail because they had seen their pokemon as nothing more than a means to an end. This, Alto disliked greatly. Pokemon weren't tools to be kept locked away inside pokeballs until they were needed. They were friends, family even. Without them, trainers couldn't possibly hope to get anywhere.

((Wow. That ended up on a whole different tangent than I expected. Well, Alto's in Viridian.....in the gym.......just thinking and possibly training))
