bracing for the landing, daniel settled back in his seat, with the wineglass still in hand. when a stewardess came over to refill his drink, the man waved her off, before telling her to buckle in. minutes later, he jolted forward as the plane touched in the city of love. when it came to flying, dan's least favorite -part was landing - it signified the end of the sky and the beginning of the ground. when the plane came to a stop, the villain grabbed his trenchcoat, shrugging it on as he stepped into the limousine waiting below. his luggage was to be directly delivered to his hotel, w paris-opera.

She was sitting at the kitchen island, watching a horse race that Charlie had on the tv, when the doorbell rang. She stood up, to go get it, but Charlie pushed her back down in the chair and went to go answer it herself. As the older female opened the door, she let out a gasp of surprise at the state of the girl in front of her."Oh, Terra!" she said, in an almost apologetic tone,"Come on in, honey."she said, grasping the staggering visitor by the wrist and nearly pulling her in. She led her over to the couch, telling her to lay down while she got her a glass of cold water.
She hurried into the kitchen and began quickly making Terra her glass of water, and grabbing a pill to ease her headache. She held both objects and carried them to the girl, holding them out to her.

She took in the sights and sounds of Parè as she cruised through the streets in her limousine. The driver in font asked no questions through out the entire ordeal, as it was his job to keep his mouth shut.
They pulled up in front of the W Paris-Opera Hotel, one of the oldest is Paris. The door was opened for her and she stepped out, looking as cool as an iceberg in the artic. Her stance was somewhat rigid, as troubled glances were thrown her way, but she ignored them completely, deciding to pretend that she didn't notice.
She was quickly checked-in and handed the key to her room, all the while being surrounded by her body gaurds/henchmen, who would be given an adjorning room.
As soon as her luggage was safely put away and the room thoroughly inspected, she locked herself in the room, threw open the windows and resolved to refresh herself for the following night's ordeal and enjoy Paris without ever leaving the building.

daniel checked into the hotel at half past five, two bodyguards flanking his sides. when the transaction was done, he motioned to the burly men who stood besides him to grab his belongings. together, his small procession bundled into the elevator, taking the device upwards. as his room had been cleared beforehand, the villain didn't hesitate to step inside. two of his men came with him, just to assure the safety of their boss.

"Jesus, woman," Terra said, "I have a hangover, not cancer. I'm not an invalid." Still, she took the pill and the water, swallowed the first and washed it down with the latter, then pulled a flask out of her purse and took a good long pull on it. Some may have said that Terra had a problem. She usually didn't listen to those people. Letting out a contented sigh and reclining back on the couch, the angel took another swig, looking around the cabin. "So," she said, "What was so important that you needed to interrupt my party weekend for? I got your text, but it's... kinda fuzzy still. Those free drinks they serve at the MGM are something else, let me tell you.

She stretched and pushed off the stool, strolling casually into the living room and sitting down in one of the arm chairs.
Charlie shook her head and grabbed Terra's flask, ignoring her protests, and placing it on the table."Well you better stop drinking for awhile if you want to be sober enough to go on an assignment." she said seriously, knowing Tera wanted to go on a job, considering the wages Charlie gave them."Hades is up to something, big."she said, grabbing the nearby tv remote and clicking on the tv that hung above the mantle piece.
Several photos appeared, obviously taken from the D'iene sattelite. A large white factory building appeared on the screen, and while a sign said "Hemin's Chocolate Factory" you could bet your bottom dollar they weren't making chocolate bars in there. A series of photos showed swarms of employees entering and exiting the building, and tractor trailers delivering and picking up stuff.

"Charlie, I found the dvd you we-" a young, broad-shoulder man was standing in the archway of the basement stairs, holding a dvd case in hand. His brown eyes registered surprise at the fact his aunt wasn't alone, however this was quickly replaced by a hesitant smile. "Oh, I'm so sorry for interrupting. Aunt Charlie didn't inform me that we would be expecting guests." Turning to his aunt, Matt said; "Would it be okay if I were to start boiling some tea for them?"

"Nah, I'm good," Terra said, taking another swig just to prove her point and putting the flask away. It'd take a lot more than a few mouthfuls of scotch to get her drunk. Another perk of drinking so much. Leaning forward to get a better view of the screen, Terra giggled a little to herself. "So what," she said, "are they planning on taking the world over with terrible chocolate? 'Cause I mean, Hershey's has kinda got that on lock. Seriously, that stuff is like the trailer trash of chocolate." Bored with the picture, Terra glanced idly around, her eyes landing on Matthias. She'd never seen him before, she didn't even know Charlie had any relatives, so naturally her first instinct was to flirt with him. "Hey there, handsome," she said, batting her eyelashes at him. "You come here often?"
