"Oh, and I'm the Doctor." The Doctor said quickly, eyeing the gun, but stowing away his sonic.

Tristin nodded to all of them, grinning at Sasha's comment. "Thanks, sweetheart. And Jack Harkness, huh? I'm pretty sure I've heard of you." That part was a blatant lie. Tristin had heard of Jack alright, and idolized him. "Aren't you that guy you can't die?"

"I definitely can die. I do. A lot." Jack grumbled. "It's not fun." He stuck his hands in his pockets. "You gonna try? Someone decided we're all supposed to kill each other."

"I," Sasha interjected, "personally think that killing each other is stupid. What is there even to gain? Whoever gave that announcement didn't reveal much." She paused. "...Maybe if we look around, we'll find something out?"

[higurashi]

The Doctor gasped. "No! No killing, please! Let's keep this peaceful between us!"

Tristin cast a sideways glance at the Doctor before settling his eyes on Jack again. "Nah. I usually don't kill people unless I think they're a threat or I'm paid to. You guys are safe from me. And Sasha does have a good point."

[higurashi]

Jack suddenly smiled at Tristin. "You're okay." He said. "So, Doctor, no luck with the TARDIS?" He asked. "Do you think it would help if I walked away?"

[higurashi]

The Doctor wrung his hands. "I don't think it has anything to do with you this time Jack." He sighed. "I think it's this place. They probably don't want us leaving, now that we're here."

Tristin was disarmed at the sudden smile Jack gave him, but readjusted quickly. "Okay. Let's do what Sasha said and look around."

Jack nodded. "Alright." He said, scanning the horizon for movement. "Pick a direction." He suggested to no one in particular.

Dalek
Conclusion: Creature inoperative.
I moved on from the unresponsive human and began to patrol, looking for a responsive creature to kill. Clearly the way out was through destroying the lesser beings on this planet. Pest control, really.

"Maybe we should climb to the top of one of these rock... things and look around," Sasha suggested. The rock formations were very large and tall, but also had many bumps and nooks in them which made them appear easy to climb.
