Name: Jaxon Whitmore
Age: 19
Physical description: Somewhat taller than average, Jax is leanly built with long limbs. However, he is anything but athletic and more thin than muscled. His eyes are black, and he keeps his hair cut short or completely shaved if the mood strikes him. His clothes are utilitarian, but he has a penchant for wearing dark blues and greens that complement his chocolate skin nicely, betraying that he has at least some sense of style even if the clothing itself says otherwise.
Personality: Basically a bookworm, Jax is actually that kind of geeky-nerd that many people find rather charming. He has a head full of trivia and computer knowledge, not to mention random internet memes and obscure video games. He is not so introverted that he can't carry on a conversation, nor is he overly shy. Really though, he has no problems entertaining himself and would be unlikely to go out of his way to attend a party or something like that. He sort of takes the approach of enjoying company when it is available, but leaves it to his 'friends' to decide if they want him around. In other words, call him, because he isn't going to call you unless it is important.
Sex: Male
Gender: Though he dresses and acts neutral, it would be very odd for him to be mistaken for a woman. Honestly he really isn't the sort to put much thought into that kind of thing.
Resident or newcomer?: New enough to seem out of place.
A short history: Born and raised on Mt Dessert Island near Acadia, Jax was always a star student at his tiny little high school. He definitely wasn't one of the popular kids, but in general was able to keep his head down well enough to keep from being tormented. Upon graduating top of his class, he was offered a substantial scholarship to attend the University of Maine in Bangor. His family is not particularly well off, and even though his had the test scores to attend an ivy league school, they insisted that he go UM where he would be close to home. This all was fine with him, until he actually got to Bangor and found out that the only thing worse than being a black kid in Maine was being a black kid with no friends in a city full of people who looked at him like something from Ripley's. He begged his parents to let him transfer down to the University of Southern Maine near Portland, as the city was much more liberal and he thought he could be happy there. However, they flat out refused. There just wasn't enough money to help him move down there and transfer all of his credits. Angry and sad, he decided to heck with all of them and just walked off campus one day. Having full intentions of moving down to Portland, or maybe even go so far as Boston (he had always dreamed of going to MIT) he came across Tomberton and stopped. It was the middle of winter, wretchedly cold and snowy, and the strangeness of the perpetual autumn piqued his curiosity so he stayed. For now, his parents don't even know he is missing from college, as he has just been taking all of his courses online. Even though his heart isn't really in it anymore, the little bit of money they are sending him helps and he doesn't want to say anything lest they cut him off. Hopefully, he will be able to find a job soon, and not have to worry about it.
Likes: Jax enjoys things like computers and games like world of warcraft and starcraft (minecraft too... really anything with 'craft' in it) He loves to read and write, and is fascinated by science. Last year before college he saved up his money and bought an android phone, and he practically lives off the thing when out of the house. If you can pry him away from his computers, he likes simple things, good food and intellectual conversation.
Dislikes: Jax has a severe dislike for judgmental people, having been the brunt of many misconceptions his entire life. He also isn't a huge fan of sports, being particularly bad at most of them, yet another ill-formed joke in many peoples minds.
Their special power: Jax has an eidetic memory, which would be an anomaly in unto itself. However, since arriving in Tomberton he seems to be able to help other people remember things as well, even if they didn't necessarily happen.
Flaws:
Orientation: Gay
Crush: None Yet
Relationship status: Perpetually Single
