I walk nervously thought the doors of the training area. My heart is thumping so fast if feels like its ready to fall out of my chest. I looked around at the other people feeling small but I am quick to notice that there are others smaller than me such as Marvin, the other boy I had heard about earlier on. I look around nervously not sure where I should start and not exactly wanting to interact with the deathly weapons. Quickly I make my way over to the throwing knife station with Marvin figuring it wouldn't hurt to get to know another of my own age and equal match.

Jeremy looked around in the training center with wide eyes, it was biggger than he ever imagined. His eyes overlooked everything but stuck at something that made him overjoyed: Bows. But he thought of what his mentor had said, not to show off your abilitys except beforw the judges. So he decided to train some sword fighting, whichh was one of his weakest assets.
Mike headed towards the dagger throwing and to his delight it actually went well and he hit one dagger right in the middle. This was something completely else than archery, he thought happily.

The small girl stammered into the training area, her long white hair falling over her face. She was truthfully scared.
Straying away from any attention, the girl pressed against the wall and looked down, not looking for any stations in particular. She already knew how she was going to get through the games and most of these things she had mastered already. All but killing. She would never harm a single person or animal, but in this case, she might have to.

Cole Crowe
District 12 | Male
Cole strode into the training arena, his jaw set. By now he was used to the surprises thrown at him by the Capitol, and this wondrous room was no different. He allowed his grey eyes to flicker quickly up to the sponsors stand, assessing each individual who stood there. Disgusting individuals. If only some day the roles were reversed and he was sat by, idly watching them fight for their lives. He'd sit and he'd laugh. He smiled at the thought. Only now did Cole hesitate, he still hadn't taken in any of his opponents, nor did he want too. He simply acted nonchalant, allowing the serene calm to enter him. He scanned the stands, choosing to steer clear of the weapons entirely for the time being. He turned his attention to the camouflage stand; something he knew a lot about anyway. He saw the training not as an opportunity to hone his skills; but a chance to sabotage the skill set he already had. If no one in the room knew of his survival skills, he may just live that little bit longer.
As he made his way across the hall, he through in a few coughs and nasal sniffs. Acting weak was not usually adopted by someone as sturdy looking as himself; adopting a cold may just make he pretence a little more realistic.
The assistant at the stand seemed happy to help, trilling off information that was already lodged into Cole's brain. Cole took this opportunity to scope the room inconspicuously, taking special care to eye every detail of the 'dreaded' careers.

Zayden stood with his arms crossed against his chest as the elevator doors opened. His stature was confident, relaxed even. His excitement was unreadable on his face, 'save for maybe the left corner of his mouth slightly crinkled upward. He had to really keep himself in check not to give out any more emotion when his eyes got the chance to graze the training floor for the first time. All the blades, the metal, the spikes. It was comforting to him in a strange sadistic way. As he marveled at the range of weapons, he noticed some of the other Tributes had gotten here before he did. He took turns eyeing and studying each of them. The small portion of rational thinking he had tried to pick out possible allies, but the rest of him could only think about how he would kill every one of them later on. Impulse proved to be more dominating then learning, because Zayden's attention was quickly yanked away from the Tributes to the wall of swords that seemed to be calling his name. His footsteps rang loud through the room as he made his way to the wall of blades.
Thrill soared through the Zayden's body as he clutched the handle of one of the larger swords. But it wasn't just your average sword. It was slightly curved in the shape of a claw. Not enough to be considered somewhat scythe, but enough to where it was noticeable. Not that it bothered Zay at all. He loved anything that was sharp. He turned toward the nearest circle of practice dummies with a smirk. He strode casually to the middle of the circle and let out a breath. Then in a blur of motion, he went to work. His turns and slashes to the targets melted together in an experienced manor. With each strike of his sword, a part of a dummy fell to the floor.

Cinder sighed and rubbed the back of her neck as the elevator took her down to the Training Floor. She didn't very much feel like training, but she knew she had to. It was the place to practice and to possibly make allies for the Games. That's gonna be a pain. She thought to herself. Not being a people person whatsoever, making friends came hard to Cinder. So hard that she just gave up way back when she was younger. "They defiantly won't want to talk to you if you aren't even smiling." Her Mentor Graven's annoying, high-pitched voice replayed over and over in her head. "Can't you at least do that, Cindara? Can't you at least smile? Just some sort of look that doesn't make you appear as if you're going to kill them would do." But that was exactly what she was going to do, wasn't it? Kill them? And then there way Carboious. Ugh. Just the name of the annoying Escort made her want to gag- along with the haunting permanently infused image of the man's bright citrus orange hair that obnoxiously matched his clothes. The thought sent her flashing back to earlier in the day. The moment where the previous Hunger Games victor and the snooty Capitol Escort had been going at it like badgers over her training. What she needed to do, how she needed to keep her strengths secret for the Training Presentation. Now that made her smile. But as fast as it came, the grin was gone just as the elevator doors opened and Cinder got her first look at the Training Floor.
{ Eeep! I just about spazed when I saw we were finally starting! Yes!!!
Yes, that makes sense Elder. Blake is a CDP as well. ^^
Hey, if anyone's up to interacting with either Cinder or Zayden, feel free. }

After all Jeremy decided to use the bows a little as the sword fighting practically had gone to H*ll. He took the bow and thre arrows, firing them off rapidly and all hit somewhat near the middle. With a smirk he looked around at the other tributes looking if anyone had seen.

I pick up a throwing knife, not exactly sure how to use it I clumsily lob it at the human cut out. I thuds into the shoulder of the cut out but falls to the ground, having had not being lodged in it from my weak throw. my cheeks flush red with embarrassment as I looked around hoping nobody was watching me. Quickly I walk away not exactly knowing where I'm going because I am more focused on my minor screw up and bump into Cinder next to the doors of the elevator.

Castella tried to loosen her posture as she strode out of the elevator and into the Training Center. Her fingers were curled into tight fists, ragged fingernails digging ferociously into the sweaty palms. If these two visual cues didn't give you the impression that she was in a terrible mood, and nervous on top of that, the hard glare on her face certainly would. Her cold brown eyes flicked around to survey the cavernous room - many of the Tributes were already there, including her District counterpart, a boy 3 years her junior by the name of Mike, who was throwing knives. Castella itched to go join him, hungry for the feel of a knife beneath her fingers, but forced herself to turn away. She wanted nothing to do with Mike, if only because she didn't want to be the one to kill him. Sure, he was quite the coward, but he was from home. And she'd never forget that. Knitting her brow together, Castella strode towards the other end of the room, towards a station stocked with a rack of swords. There was another boy there, but she ignored him, pulling out a sword instead. The grip was smooth to the touch, but the weapon itself wasn't too heavy.
To be honest, Castella had no clue what her strategy was in terms of training; originally, she had wanted to learn a bit of everything, in hopes that her overall knowledge of things would increase her chances of survival, but her mentor had shot the idea down immediately. When she had asked for an alternative strategy, however, she had simply shrugged and said 'Do whatever you can to impress the judges.' Castella had snorted at that. What was she supposed to do, perform an acrobatic act? Clenching her fingers around the hilt of the blade, Castella slashed it experimentally at one of the targets, lopping off half its leg. She grinned despite herself, chuckling under her breath at the morbidly comical sight. Next, she tried for a vicious slash to the neck, pretending she was at the slaughterhouse, and to her delight, she was able to decapitate it ... sort of.

Cinder hadn't even taken a full step out of the elevator before something bad happened. And of course the world would make it so she was involved. Instinctively, she pushed back on the one who had collided with her. Her breath caught as she got sight of the smaller girl falling to the floor. She hadn't meant to be so rough. Her cheeks flushed red when other Tributes as well as Station Officers turned to look at the scene. To make it even worse, out of the corner of her eye she noticed some Peacemakers begin to advance toward them. Panic seized her body. No, she hadn't done anything wrong! Quickly she bent down in front of the girl in an effort to mend the situation. "I'm sorry." She reached her hand out to help the girl up. She grit her teeth as she did. For one, she never liked saying sorry. It showed she was weak. Second, she wasn't the one who ran into someone. This girl should be apologizing to her. Thirdly, since she was obviously older, everyone probably thought it was her who started this "fight". "I guess I don't know my own strength." She tried to smile and humor the situation as she pulled the girl up, but it was not really working.

I was stunned, I had screwed up again and now it was worst, involving somebody else I had never even seen before into the equation. thoughts rushed through my head as I noticed people were looking at us. I could say I'm sorry, since after all it was indeed my fault, but would that make me look weak? I decide to go on the defensive side, figuring maybe it could help me look a little stronger and score me some more points. "watch it!" I say rudely already starting to feel shameful, considering that was not how I usually acted at all and it was a bit odd yelling at a person much older than me.
