❅ ❅ "It feels nice to be alive again, don't you think?" The Guide said to one one. She was perched on the highest tower rooftop in Ravenbaum Castle, her hair madly dancing with the wind, getting tangled with the sleepy stars above. The hems of her dress flapped everywhere, along with a flag on the tower summit; the powerful Ravenbaum insignia. It was a stunning view, and nothing has changed much since three hundred years ago. The sun lazily crept up on the distant hills, and the wheat fields below caught strands of its golden rays, ready for harvest. "It shouldn't be long now. Time to round up the Fragments." The cobwebs of her staff glowed, then under her feet appeared a sort of a red spell circle. It had many layers, containing characters and symbols from an ancient language and outlines of fused heavenly bodies. A door bursts open, and a knight comes out. "Hey you! What are you--" Before he can finish whatever he was going to say, the spell circle glows fiercely and the light envelopes Lady Ayleth and she disappears, just like that. The mark of the spell circle was still there.

❅ ❅ "So she was here." His fingertips traced the faint outline of the spell circle, and when he raised his hands, those fingers were smeared with blood. Blood spells? Unusual for her. A knight lay sprawled on the floor after the knight threatened him. Fool.
The war will arrive soon.
"Where the hell are you, sister?"
[short post because im in a hurry. this is meant to be
much longer ._.
surprise, surprise, I have another character. i will put up a form for him soon.
who should ayleth visit first?
So the situation is, there's going to be an human vs elf-beast war. I was going to write this up above, but I don't have enough time.
sorry if this doesn't make sense.]

[ good question. I suppose it'll be easier to just start from people that are already in Ravenbaum, since she's there -- but wait, she teleported. Nevermind. UUUUUUH. ._.'' ]
[ never RP'd a mute guy before...this should be fun. XD ]
[ so ... are we RPing them just waking up, or have they been in their positions for a while? ]

Nathan slammed the door of his private chambers with an almighty crash, his wife Sofia screeching like an eagle-beast to come back out. Why would he ever do that? So he could stand there while she ranted at him? It wasn't like he could defend himself! Nathan almost absentmindedly put a light touch upon his high overcoat collar before snarling in distaste at a distant whine of a little child. Why were they still up? It was practically dawn. Nathan would be sleeping if Sofia hadn't started raging at him over something inconsequential. "Frustrated", she said. "Unappreciative", she said.
Well I'm sorry, my dear, Nathan sneered mentally, ripping off his overcoat and moodily pitching it towards a random armchair, the next time I lose my voice and the inheritance at the same time, I'll try to be more considerate--Nathan kicked one of the legs of the grand bed--about other peoples' feelings!
With a silent outburst Nathan angrily knocked over a table, the vase filled with large, elegant flowers nearly hanging upside down from the weight of their grand buds spilling out onto the floor with a mighty crash. Swiping aside the glass in impatience with a foot, Nathan seized his bow and quiver of arrows sitting patiently upon a mantle on the wall before swiping his overcoat again in a spurt of spontaneous decision. He wrenched the coat on before nearly pulling the door out from its hinges in the ferocity that he tore it open. Sofia was standing their in a huff, a nightgown threatening to untie itself at the waist, her stomach swollen in anticipation of birthing a new child.
"Finally!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms. "What, you thought I was just going to let you stay in there forever? You can't just hide--Nathan, where are you going?" she suddenly demanded as Nathan nonchalantly brushed past her as if she weren't there.
"Nathan!" she demanded. "Answer me!"
Nathan paused before he slowly, deliberately pivoted on his heel to give his wife a long, cold stare. Answer you? he mentally screamed. How the hell am I supposed to answer you? I'm mute.
Sofia seemed to get the message just fine as she lowered her hackles, relaxing by a fraction of a degree. "Nathan," she began again--softer this time--"please. I feel like...I feel like we're going to separate soon," she sighed wanly. "I don't want that to happen. I want to love you, again."
I can't bring my voice back, so you won't be able to, Nathan said as well, although of course he couldn't respond. Instead he gave his wife a slow, sad blink before turning his back and heading towards the courtyards. She didn't try and stop him, and for that he was grateful.
It was late, and he should probably go back into the manor, get some sleep, but right then and there Nathan couldn't care less. He needed to get away. He mounted a steel gray mare before spurring it off towards the rising sun, not opting to put on more than a thin leather saddle on the horse today. Nathan automatically loaded his bow, but he did so loosely, not keeping much of a taut or tight grip to it. It was more of a habit. He really needed normalcy at the moment.
