Jamie was still asleep when the announcement came over the morning news so he knew nothing when he was woken up other than he was very cold.
"No school today, kids!" his mother called up the stairs.
"What?" came a half-pleased, half-surprised answer from his older sister's bedroom.
"Oh, long story - power cuts, storms. You all go back to sleep and check the news when you get up."
Wake up! Paine's voice boomed in Jamie's head, causing him to instantly raise a hand to his head and shout out loud, "OUCH!"
"'Sup?" called his sister, lazily, from her room.
"Nothin'." Jamie yawned in return. Wow, you're loud today, Lady Sarcasm.
Huh. Paine replied, sounding impressed by her new nickname. Sure beats Dr P. Maybe you ought to get on the computer to that girl, what was it, Cukinu? See how things are going where she is.
I'll see if she's on. Jamie replied, crawling out of bed with his duvet still pulled around him. It really was cold - were the power cuts affecting the heating? Jamie didn't know enough about domestics to understand. Maybe it was just the weather.

Jessica had woken up and gone for her morning jog around her home area when her Dad finally decided to break the news to her. Jess was outraged that college wasn't on - she had an exam coming up that she needed to study for. Still, it meant longer for her to train in her room.
OH WHAT A WONDERFUL MORRRRRRRNIIIIIING.
"AAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!" Jess screamed.
"Jess?" her Dad called.
"N-nothing! I just kicked too hard." Jess replied.
Awful weather, huh? Though I do like storms.

Ruth, thankfully, had been spared an earful because Sephiroth wasn't one for shouting. She took the morning to settle down and play a Final Fantasy game or two.
Who's your favourite? Ruth asked, after a ten minutes of FFX.
Auron. Sephiroth replied without a moment's hesitation.

Cukinu poked the tv as it fell out again; she had just managed to catch what they said; something about power cuts, well, whatever. Slightly skipping she headed for her room again. "Rise and shine, early bird." Sakura joked, Cukinu laughed to herself. "Not my fault." She thought back to Sakura. "Would my laptop still work? It has an accu(sp?) so, yeah." Sakura shrugged in her mind. "Why don't ya try it?"
Cukinu smiled and nodded as she pulled her laptop from underneath a pile of clothes; what it did there remained a mystery to even her. She pressed the power button and crossed her fingers, hoping it would work.

Kohaku rolled onto her other side in her bed whilst muttering to herself; she just couldn't get asleep again. "Wake up already." Pein muttered, making Kohaku growl and roll out of her bed and onto the ground with a soft 'thud'. As she tried to get up she got stuck in her blankets and with an annoyed growl she freed herself. "It's monday, I have school. No way I'm going to get out of bed." She muttered as she walked downstairs, towards the kitchen.
"What are you doing? You have no school today." Her father said to her, with a surprised look she stopped walking."... Seriously?" She asked.
"Yeah, power cuts, storms... You can just go back to bed." Her father said whilst he put the dishes away. What was with her dad and the dishes?
Kohaku grumbled a soft 'okay' as she made her way up the stairs again, picking up her blanket and crawling back in bed again. "You should take advantage of this and tra-"

Erick was in bed, not sleeping, just laying there. He had heard his parents talking about no school and a power cut in the kitchen, so he found no reason to get up. Naraku, thankfully, was quiet too. But not for long. Hey. I'm bored. Get up. Naraku said, even sounding bored for once. Erick sighed, and got up. Who needs an alarm clock when they have you? Erick thought to him shaking his head. He got dressed, and walked out to the kitchen. "Hi mom, dad." He said as he plopped down on a chair by the table. "Hello. No school." His mom said, not looking up from the paper work she was working on. "Yeah, I know." Erick said getting up again. Thank the gods. Naraku said with a hint of happiness in his voice.

Janessa was up and about quite early. Sometimes, she was up before her parents. She was never like that before, but thought it must've been something about Legolas or something. He hardly ever slept, if any. She had breakfast, and was now just reading a book. More like re-reading it for the tenth time. It was the first one of Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring. For some reason, Legolas was completely silent. You content with reading? Janessa thought to him. I can't even read it. I'm thinking, and don't want to disturb you. Legolas said back to her.

Sabrina sat up in her bed to find her twin brother Harry up and on the computer. She scratched her head and gave a start when Jack said good morning. What's wrong? I always say good morning Jack asked concerned. Sabrina shook her head Your voice is louder She told him.

Bam was out cold, still fast asleep. He was a bit troubled though. Freddy's presence seemed stronger, for some reason, but that didn't stop thoughts of Sabrina from creeping into his dreams.

Pual had noticed Dustfinger had become stronger too and also had seen the news What do you think it is Dust? Pual asked the fire juggler I'm not sure......

"It's so c-c-cold." Jamie muttered, wrapping his duvet around his legs as his laptop loaded. He should have enough charge left until the power came back on. He switched his radio on, so that he would know when that happened.
Wimp. I've had to run around Mt Gagazet in a bikini. Paine instantly replied.
"Will the internet work?" Jamie wondered out loud. It didn't matter - the radio sprung to life, so Jamie plugged his laptop charger in and logged onto msn.
Cukinu was, indeed, online. "Hey again!" he typed. "Surviving the weather?"

"Jess! We're got a large shopping list, I'm going down to the corner shop to get some stuff." Jessica's Dad called up the stairs.
"I'll go!" Jessica instantly volunteered, practically leaping down the stairs. There was no way she was going to be cooped up in her house all day, storm or no storm.
You grow more like me by the day! the Doctor murmured, surprised by Jessica's sudden outburst.
Despite the objections of Jessica's father, she headed out onto the gusty streets with her collar pulled up, wrapped up in a jacket and several pairs of socks.
Jess, Jess. Please let's go back. I have a horrible feeling about this. Please.
We're just going down to the shop. No worries.

The twins rolled out of bed at the same time, landing with a thud. Twin groans were heard too. No school didn't bother them, they didn't go to school here. Their aunt and uncle had tried to get them into school, but an arguement resulted in the twins winning. Their aunt and uncle had realised that they couldn't control the twins anymore. After they were dressed, they both went outside to go to the shop.

Weapon/Fighting Experience: Has always had a connection for air. Like his sisters, he has some martial arts training and is an experianced horserider. He has a pet lemur called Momo. XD
