"Are there any other nekos?" Leaf asked once more staring at Aeri suspiciously. She swept her bangs out of her eyes and snuck a glance at their surroundings. The woods now seemed eerily quiet to her and she rubbed her arms with chilled hands wondering what time it was and completely forgetting the watch on her wrist.

Finally Sparrow's aerodynamics show grew to a close and she lowered herself to the ground her brown wings retreating into her back until there was nothing but a few long soft feathers left. She scratched her head and realized she had allowed her ears to appear. She glanced around with embarrassment wondering if Carter had seen any of this. She usually didn't like anyone seeing her in her true forms. But then again neither did Carter although people saw him in his form unknowingly everyday.

"Umm. Not sure, Kiyomi must be part one, since she's Aeri's mum" Fabian said and blinked his pale eyes twice and then smiled, he put his hands in his pockets and cocked his head to one side as he slowly looked at Leaf, wondering what was up with her, he let out a small whine and he sat down slowly and yawned, getting bored of the conversation. He layed down and lightly scratched his cheek in boredom.

"Ummm okay...Is that all? Surely there must be more than just three of us." Leaf muttered the last part mostly to herself. She brushed her bangs away out of habit and slid down the tree she was leaning against until she was sitting on the ground.
(Sorry if her appearance changes a bit. I'm going through a sort of characters with curly hair phase and I think curly hair will suit her although I might change it back later on XD)

"There might always be more, though I must not have met them yet" Fabian said brightly and shrugged his thin shoulders slightly, his peach coloured eyes narrowing slightly and a frown crossing his face. There were too many angels around, what he wouldn't do to be in Leaf's position with only three of her kind around, he grimaced slightly and sighed.

Leaf leaned forward slightly, staring into Fabian's eyes."Are you..."her sentence trailed off as she got lost in his eyes. She blinked rapidly when she realized what she was doing."Sorry....Are you wearing contacts?" she asked awkwardly. Her bright green eyes were wide with fascination.

Fabian looked at Leaf in surprise and grinned sheepishly at her and laughed. "Oh, no I'm not, these are natural" He said brightly and blinked his peach coloured eyes, he looked at Leaf's bright and green eyes and a small smile lit his face. "Your eyes remind me of a friend of mine, they are so very green" He said brightly.

Leaf blushed and her ears sprung from her head. She flushed a shade darker and covered them with her hands in embarrassment."And who might that friend be?"she asked curiously as her heart beat slowed and her large pointy ears receded back into her scalp.

Fabian stared in fascination as Leaf's ears came out of her head and he giggled, though his face turned quite sad when Leaf asked about which friend it was. "Oh, well she was one of the first people I met around here, her name was Sky, but she went missing" He sighed and frowned slightly, Sky was one of the youngest of most of the people who had previously lived in the cave, and frankly she was one of the ones who had been beat up on the most.

Fabian cringed at the memory and sighed, he looked back at Leaf and smiled quite sadly.

Leaf's face fell and she took up a somber expression."I'm sorry." Way to go Leaf, you screwed up yet again. Don't you ever want friends? You know to make them you need to be a lot more sensitive to other people's feelings. A battle raged on in Leaf's mind and she let out a soft, shallow sigh.

Fabian looked at Leaf and a sheepish, small smile lit his face and he lightly rubbed the back of his head. "Oh don't worry about it, she'll be back one day, I think she has like a total thing for me" He exclaimed and let out a small girl-ish giggle, his eyes brightening at that and he lightly looked around where they were and put his hands on his thin hips lightly.
