xxxMonroe hopped to the next branch, careful not to slip. The forest was one of her favorite places to be at, especially up in the highest tree. She made her way towards a specific tree. When she arrived, she quickly scaled each branch till her head poked out above the canopy. Her breath caught, as it always did, as she saw the birds flying through the sky. A light breeze blew a stray hair into her face and she brushed it away. She held on to a sturdy branch and closed her eyes, so that other than the fact that there was pressure on her feet, it felt like she was joining the birds in flight.


xxxJacob tended to spend a good amount of time in the training arena. Actually, that was where he was now. He pulled back an arrow, aiming it towards a tiny spot on the wall, a hundred feet away, and loosed it, sending it flying. When it landed, he walked over lightly and picked it out of the dead center of the spot. Chiron had talked about getting some moving targets, but so far, it hadn't happened. He sighed and walked out of the training arena, towards his cabin, to go write.
