She shook her head no. She didn’t know why people were so surprised by it. Her old mentor said it was quite alright that she was powerless. She thought the answer to his question was quite obvious. She gestured her entire body, her eyes glancing at a few of the swirled marks.
“Well, because I am green. And being green means I cannot be human, which means I am Hemi or Daemn. But I am, well, obviously not a Daemn, which means I am Hemi. Albeit simply one without powers.” She stated, thinking it was something obvious. Did all Hemis have powers? The Principle had told her so, and had said she had simply been to weak to unlock it yet. She had wrinkled her nose in distaste at that statement. She was not weak. She would be dead if she were weak, after the life she had lived. She spent all her time training, fighting, and surviving. How could that woman have called her weak?
She watched as he began to glow from the inside, and became, like he said, a flashlight. “Actually, I believe it could be quite useful. I’d say comparable to the others, although I have only known the power of one other. You could stun somebody like that, a nice quick flash of light followed by an escape.”
I wouldn’t mind a power like that. It would be of more use than no power. I would have used that stunning, and probably saved myself a few broken bones, and save a fewlives of those deceased humans.
((Glad you had a nice birthday!

He had to laugh slightly. “Well, I suppose I wouldn’t mind, depending on who it was.” He said, keeping up the suggestive atmosphere with his smirk.
They got outside, and he almost tripped adjusting his pace since Bea had slowed slighthly. “Well, I’d say you’re welcome, but it wasn’t really flattery as much as it was curiosity,” He admitted. “But I suppose an actress would be an even better job. I suppose its too bad you got stuck here, but I wouldn’t call it a prison. This is my third year, and I have enjoyed it quite a bit. But I suppose it’s because I never really had a reason to leave.” He shrugged slightly.
“I suppose I could always help you out if you can’t figure out the map, it seems no matter how precise it is, people always seem to be lost in their first year. So yeah, here I am, personal, free, tourguide. To start, there are a few tables that way.” He said, pointing in a slightly different direction then they were headed, one more to the right.
