Storm sat there on the ground wondering if Ren had actually left him there, tied up to a tree, to die. He decided that it was a likely factor to consider and if he was not back by night fall he would try his best to get out of the restraint that held him to the tree.

Hiro remained seated on the ground, watching with a small smirk at the events unfolding before him. He thought about her proposal; maybe it was for the best if they separated for a while. There was no way he'd part ways with Jinx, but being around so many people all the time made him kind of antsy sometimes. With his what you would call anxiety problems and the whole mutt#2 thing going on, he couldn't say a break didn't sound good. Actually, now that he thought about it, that sounded great.

A loud purr left me even though I was totally against what he was doing. Okay, maybe I wasn't so opposed to the kitty petting time. I could discuss leaving later. Right now, I was enjoying myself too much.

He looked up at the ceiling and continued with the ear petting. Jinx was so peaceful in floppy purr form. Ren remembered puppy and tilted his head up. "Ah, Jinx, we need food. you comin' or not?" he looked down at Jinx and sighed softly with a gentle smile.

I really didn't wanna get up but I knew he had somewhere to be. I wanted tacos so I figured a food run wouldn't be all bad. "Is...is the puppy going as well?" I would still tag along even if Storm#2 was going, I probably wouldn't be too happy about it though. If anything I'd probably be really irritable the entire time.

he shook his head. "Nope. Storm's staying. He's still tied to the tree, don't worry." Ren propped himself up on his elbows, being careful not to make Jinx roll off.

"Oh good. I'll go. Now it's just a matter of whether or not you can get me off of you." With a dramatic yawn, I buried my nose in his neck and closed my eyes. I really was in the mood for a nap but I was willing to get up if it meant I could get a toy. Then again, we could sit here all day if it meant I could watch Ren struggle to get me off.

Ren smirked and rolled his eyes. "If you get off I'll get you a toy." He offered, twirling her blue hair in his fingers. That'd usually be enough to get her off, being that Jinx was part kitty and toys where like heaven to her.

"B-but...I really want a toy!" This was a diffucult decision. Gah! I really did want a toy...and a collar with a bell on it. Ren never did like to play fair. With a soft sigh I crawled off of him and rolled my eyes. Stupid kitty DNA! It had given me way too many weaknesses despite how beneficial it had been.

Ren let out a deep sigh as the weight was lifted off his chest and Jinx rolled away like a ball. He sat up, fluttering his feathers slightly to balance himself, then looked back over at the kitty girl with his bright green hues. "tacos?" He asked, rolling his shoulders slightly to loosen his wings.
