Sorrin tilts his head a bit, looking at Sijac curiously. He has never been one to judge, and this situation is no different. He sees everyone's lives as a personal choice, and just because he is unwilling to kill doesn't mean that others don't see the need. His ignorance of what it means to be a 'white' or a 'black' gives him no aide in assessing what she says, and it is perhaps only his gentle nature that he now belongs to the white order. "And yet he keeps you here? How strange!" He says finally, with no attempt to hide his surprise. Surely any Under Dark assassin that either failed in their duties, or chose not to complete them, would be killed themselves by their employer. "Is he your new master now? I bet your old one is pretty mad that you haven't killed him, and are now a student in the tower..."

"It's not the stars its the way of looking at them." Feathers said softly. She could remember those calm, warm summer nights in the forest. She would climb to the top of the tree and watch as the stars blinked to life and she tried to give them names and make pictures with them. They were always so pretty, always shining bright in the sky. "I always used to look through the trees at the stars above, it's not a tradition I plan on breaking here." She said softly, smiling up at the sky again. The sweet memories filling her, she wished she could be back there, with the animals were the world had been so right.

Silently she looked up through the trees, trying to see things as Feathers saw them. She did like new ways of thinking, but there was really nothing that she saw that was different than looking at the stars in an open sky, other than a few of the stars were blocked from view by leaves. Maybe that was it, she couldn't see everything. It wasn't all clear and laid out before her, there were stars that she couldn't see. Things she didn't know, couldn't know.

Sijach was about to tell him he wasn't here of her own will. She hadn't had any magic before the Head had caught her. He put her through the most painful experiments. Even without magic she knew what dark magic was. She had plenty of power inside her, more than the usual wizard, maybe even more than the Master, but her body wasn't made to manage that energy, if the rest of it was unlocked she would be dead within moments. The Head had the power to do that with a snap of his fingers. That was why she stayed. "My old Master wouldn't dare to come here, but the moment I leave this tower I'll be as good as dead."

"I should probably head in. I think the heads are looking for me." Feathers said with a little smile, swinging down from the tree and dropping lightly to the ground. She was kept in check by the head's here. They didn't want her leaving or getting into trouble with the other students. She stuck her hands in her pockets, looking up at her new friend. "I'll try and come back around here soon." she said happily. She liked hanging around with her, this was the first person she had enjoyed being around.

"Well, it was nice talking to you." Tallia said, a tiny smile creeping it's way onto her face. A while after Feathers left, she too hopped out of the tree, going back to her room for a night's sleep. She would need it in the morning if she were to try to use some of this magic she was told she had.

((Hey, no problem! I'm still here, though I don't have a very good idea what to say for a recap... I suggest to just go back and find your last post and see if anyone ever replied. I don't remember enough otherwise. ))

Sorrin nods to Sijach as though her words made sense. Well, I suppose I wouldn't want to leave either if they were going to kill me for it... "I guess it's good that you're still here then... Unless you really would rather be dead than stuck here?" He asks a bit curiously, finding her story interesting and enjoying her company. The darkened sky overhead brightens a bit with the rising of the moon, and he can't help but look up to it with a bit of wonder. It throws silvery shadows across the courtyard and lightens Sijach's face just the smallest amount beneath her robe, and he studies her face shyly.

Jordan
Jordan looks between the other two wizards (Will & Cal), absently wringing his hands. "Yeah, well it's about to get a lot worse I'm afraid..." He says, in a bit of a distant sounding voice. I suspect that even if this was the best day of his life, he would barely remember it by the time Aurora is through with him.

With a sigh, Jordan visibly shakes himself out of his thoughts, and actually looks at the pair in front of him. Deciding to try and take his mind off of things, he tries to engage them in a bit of conversation. "So, what brings you two up here to see the Master at this time of day?" He asks, not realizing that coming from someone so much older it might sound like an accusation.

Sijach remained leaned back against the tree, the moon held not interest to her though she could understand why it was quiet the opposite for Sorrin. She remained leaned back against the perfectly trimmed tree. The new light only managed to catch a couple of her features. The bright green eyes catching the light and reflecting it back. Her black hair hung down in front of her face, though she smiled everything about her seemed sad or hurt. Killing people did that to you. She gave a dry chuckle, "Depends on the day." she muttered, some days she was tempted to break her word and tell the truth about the Head but even she couldn't find that courage. "Did you have a family?" she asked, her voice quieting at the question, she had none, well none left. They were all gone now. Stolen away from her.

Will gave a simple shrug, trying to blow it off as not much though the issue was huge. "A golem wouldn't obey, it attacked Cal." he explained nodding to the girl next to him. He was the captain of the guard the creature should have obeyed his every command. If he told them to jump off the tower they would do so without question. They wren't living things, simply animations meant to do their masters bidding. Either they had gained a mind of their own or found a new master... He couldn't help but worry about any other golems being infected.

Sasha blushed and turned around, walking back to Entric with her head down. "I knew that." She said awkwardly, obviously lying. In her mind she wanted to smack her head for acting so stupid. She smiled and walked towards the right hall . "Sorry. I don't exactly have this place memorized yet." She said with a slight giggle. As a strand of red hair got into her face she quickly tucked it behind her ear and continued to walk. Still wondering about their encounter with the serpent, her green eyes darted around the hallway still afraid some other monster might come. "Where do you think that serpent actually came from? Spell gone wrong?" She guessed, bringing out a theory she had thought of. That would be the most likely answer but wouldn't the caster of the spell come and fix what they had done wrong?

Callista looked at Jordan, then towards Will when the older man asked the question. He sounded suspicious of them. Did it really have to mean that just because you were visiting the Master, it was for a bad reason? Or that you had done something wrong? Of course it had to. He was the "principal" of the school, if you thought of regular human elementary, middle and high schools. "Um.." she said, not sure if she should answer the question or not. Will ended up answering the older man and she listened, not saying anything.
