Caesar knowing about any fear was going to be hell. If he knew what scared you and caused you to give reactions such as random twiching or spasming, screaming, bawling, anything like that, then he would use it against you for his games. But Skye didn't have to worry. Soon enough, hopefully, he would be with Wren and be safe, and Augustus would watch over him from the shadows to keep him alive and out of trouble. Sadly he hadn't been doing a very good job of being a Gaurdian Angel while Skye was in his grasp, so hopefully Wren would be able to do a better job. And Sion really was an idiot if he hadn't known just how much he cared for Skye before yelling at Caesar. Just being around a sleeping Skye made Augustus so much more happy, let alone playing with the boy and talking with him. Sion was a strong swimmer, and strong, for having made it that far with Skye. Auggie wanted nothing more then to just grab Skye up in his arms. The poor boy was crying, and Auggie couldn't do anything to stop it or help him. He was the reason Skye was in this mess. "It will never be even. I am so sorry, Sion my friend. I should have been able to prevent this." Augustus, although Sion couldn't see it, had been sitting there with his head in his hands, and was crying. Skye nearly died. Skye could have drowned. It would have been all his fault. Dear little Skye. Augustus would never be able to live with himself if Skye died. First Rosalee...which had been bad enough and Augustus had never thought he would get through that, and then Skye? It would have been too much. Skye had made Auggie happy once again, and he loved the child. How tragic it would have been. Skye's luck was terrible, but obviously not terrible enough if he had lived. "I agree. You both need to get out of there as soon as possible. I know you do not like it Sion, but I am counting on you to make it through this maze. Just continue forward, and never make any turns if you can continue straight ahead." A little advice that might become useful. Skye was halucinating? Why? How? Of what? Sadly Augustus could be of no further help right then, not even able to speak. Another few seconds and Augustus would have been fed on, and he would be nothing but a corpse on the ground. Right then, that was basically what he was, on the ground, limp and pretty lifeless looking. Those were the effects of being bitten and nearly fed on. "Then I would move along Sion. Auggie's not dead. Just....unavailable at the moment." Laughing psychotically for a long while, Caesar kicked the paralyized Augustus in the ribs, before sitting in the chair Auggie had been occupying. "My chair Auggie. You need to remember that~"

With luck, Skye could get away before Caesar could use his total fear of water against him somehow to make his life hell. Pain didn't bother Skye, and when he left reality it was very hard to get anything to cause a reaction, but water could do that. So even the near brain-dead Skye could be tormented now, so yes, he needed to get to Wren fast before Caesar could do anything. Augustus had kept Skye from being tormented more, and he was alive, so he had done a very good job. he couldn't watch Skye all the time. Sion was an idiot; hadn't everyone realized that by now? Oblivious, stubborn, quick to anger, the faults numbered high, and made for a idiot-like personality. He had known Auggie cared for Skye, just not that much. Not to that extent, he never could have imagined it. Sion couldn't see it or hear it; he couldn't know Auggie was crying. But he could see Skye doing just that, that was for sure. Alternating from quietly crying and moaning to loud wailing, accompanied by twitching and spasms, Skye was obviously terrified and trapped in a despairing flashback or just something. "It'll be even. You couldn't watch him every moment." Sion said simply, but sharply. Just so long as Skye got out alive, it would be good for him. But things were not looking good for Skye, with Caesar back in control. What if they were dropped in water again? Skye already seemed to be seeing things that didn't exist, and was barely moving... Nodding when Augustus said to just go straight and not turn, Sion was half-ready to force his way back into the horrid crawl space, just for the sake of getting back. But then Caesar had nearly fed off Augustus, and the odds were worse against them again. Sion bit into his lip, wanting to cry out when Caesar was the one to speak. But he obeyed, given he could barely breath, and entered the maze again. Skye wasn't moving, just being a buffer, naturally. "Skye, I need to you to move..." he gave the boy a poke, but Skye didn't budge, merely blinking. Sion thought fast, and took the one German word he had heard Auggie used. "Chocolate. Skye." That actually got a small reaction, as Skye looked up, face still coated in tears. "Good Skye. That way. You need to move..." Sion gave the boy a push, and miraculously, Skye began to crawl. Slowly else, but he was moving, and that was just about all that mattered at that moment. That done though, it left Sion only with two things to think about; the damn tininess of the place, which was making a cold sweat appear on Sion's face again, and the fact that Caesar controlled their lives.

Skye's luck didn't seem that good throughout his whole life, hopefully luck would favor him once and let him be able to escape before Caesar made his life hell. Auggie had let Skye down by not being the Guardian he should have been. Poor Skye. Being tormented and hurt by Caesar, then almost drowning. Sion was really a idiot. He may be oblivious and stubborn but everyone else had noticed Augustus fondness of the little Skye. Even the oblivious Jan had noticed, athough perhaps not to that extent. Watching Skye almost drown....it was a nightmare for Augustus. He hadn't been able to do anything. He had just watched. Really he should have been able to prevent this. But he hadn't. And now Skye was traumitzed and crying and looked terrible, and it was all his fault. All his goddamned fault, because he hadn't stayed in the room with Skye. Wincing slightly when Sion replied sharply, Auggie shook his head, not as if Sion could have seen that. "But I should have. I should have been able to prevent this." Was the snapped back reply. Skye and Sion would get out alive. Augustus would never let Skye die. Then again, Caesar was in control and he was paralyized down on the ground. And most likely would be stuck there until whatever Caesar had injected him with had worn off. Which, given this had happened before, might take a while. But Augustus was still able to hear, and he was able to barely see the screen. Skye was moving, though. It would all be ok soon. Until a sudden pain in his head just about made him black out. What was that from? From Caesar grabbing and banging his head agaist the ground, of course. "You're so annoying Auggie. Why? Why did you ruin this? We had been having fun. Right Sion? Now make Skye make a left turn coming up, kay Sion?"
(Yeah. Crappy post. Sorry.)

Skye's luck had just been terrible. Running into Adelle. Ari. Mark. Now Caesar. There just didn't seem to be a way for him to avoid torment, he never lasted more then a few months, more like weeks, between the next torturer showed up in his life. His sole surviving friends' existence had caused Caesar to take him, could it get much worse for the poor child? At least Auggie was there to take care of him from there on, since now that Wren was amnesiac, there wasn't anyone else to. Shaking his head, knowing Augustus could see it, Sion simply snapped back another sentence. Arguing was not something he liked doing when it felt like that room was about to collapse on him. "Let's leave it to him decide, it's his life anyways." Was all he said, before biting into his lip deeply again. A minute later anyways, Augustus was helpless to help anyways, so there wasn't much point to talking. Caesar in control again... it was a nightmare. Hearing Caesar tell him to send Skye left, Sion was tempted just to shrug him off. He wasn't sending Skye alone anywhere, not when he was that clueless, couldn't swim, and might just stop moving at any moment. But Caesar could cause worse nightmares if Sion just went straight while he was in that damned control room, and he was helpless against it. "Fine, bastard." Sion snapped, reaching forward and giving Skye's shoulder a little push to the left. Skye didn't know better; he obeyed the touch and turned, Sion following. Like said, he wasn't going to leave the kid alone, but damn. He needed to get out of the maze, or he was going to end up like Skye had: paralyzed with fear., unable to do anything but curl up and scream, or cry.
( Course it's short. Your characters are only talking and aren't even near mine. XD )

Luck was terrible. But Skye had come across a few things in his life that were good. Wren was one of them. Auggie another. And Skye would be happy with Augustus, if Augustus lived that is. If they could get away from Caesar, then Skye and Augustus could finally have peace. Really, Skye could have been good enough with Augustus as his caretaker if Caesar hadn't interrupted. But of course, if there was a playtoy that could be played with, then Caesar would find it. Plus Sion had made him angry and given him a moodswing. Really Sion was more of an idiot then anyone could imagine. If he hadn't attacked Caesar, Caesar would have just been upset and annoyed, yet still sane. But no. Sion had to be the idiot he was and couldn't stop himself. Which had put him and Skye in that situation. Augustus couldn't answer. There was no answer he could make to Sion concerning that subject, and he was a bit....busy at that moment. And then Caesar had slammed his head against the floor, which made thinking quite impossible. Oh god. It hurt. Everything was looking odd right now.... "Good Sion. Haha~!" Caesar clapped his hands, before pressing another button. Stupid Sion. Augustus had told him to stay straight. He should have. Caesar wouldn't have been able to do much but drop spiders and snakes on him or make it very hot or terribly cold. But now.....the floor quickly tilted beneath Skye and Sion, creating a very steep slide that would drop them down, into a room that had a.... few puzzles. "You have five minutes to figure these out. Otherwise the door will lock and you'll be stuck in there until you feed off one another. Haha....~ Isn't it fun playing together?" The puzzles were simple enough. One was just a puzzle, like something a baby would put together. Another was a math equation. Fairly simple one. The puzzles went on like this, each one easy to do. Thing was, Sion only had five minutes, and there were many....many puzzles. "Be quick! Your time starts...now." At that, Caesar was grabbing Augustus, and picking him up. Why? To put him in the beginning room of the maze, of course. Augustus' one minute had began, and he was still paralyized, lying on the ground in heap with wide eyes. He had one minute, maybe another minute after that before the walls squished him. And he couldn't move.

A few good things yes, not many, and all surrounded by torment. Wren had lead to this, Auggie had appeared after what Caesar had done to him... it was hard to consider it balancing out. Better then nothing those few good things in his life would always be though, fortunately for Skye. Sion had always had anger issues, and Caesar had just stuck him in a tiny little maze; there wasn't any chance that Sion could restrain himself after that. Hell, he would probably attack Caesar again once he was free of the maze. Sion hadn't known that there was nothing Caesar could do if he just went straight, and what he could do could still be fatal. A freezing room, when Skye was like that, breathing strangely and hallucinating? That sounded like a very terrible combination. Sion and Skye tumbled when the floor tilted, striking the ground painfully. Skye didn't get up, but he was still breathing, so Sion merely pulled him along and didn't worry. The new room was a bit bigger too, so Sion was instantly calmer. The claustrophobia fading, he could actually pay attention to what Caesar said for once, the twitching in his limbs slowly stopping. Puzzles, eh? That was bad, very bad indeed.
Sion was uneducated. True, he could -barely- read, and knew basic maths, but beyond that? He could write in Japanese, his second language, better then he could in English. Puzzles were not good at all. They were for a young children, true, but Sion would likely not be able to do them fast enough. Sion blinked, and by the time Caesar said his time started, Sion had gotten one done. Just one. The first two minutes passed poorly; Sion just couldn't do them quickly. Reading was slow, the math was not instantaneous as it would have been for anyone his age, and everything of the like was making the puzzles take far too long. Not to mention Sion was growing more distressed with every passing moment; he couldn't do these in five minutes! Skye had spasmed and given a low moan, and Sion could tell the young boy's breathing was irregular. Not able to tell what was wrong, Sion merely knew that something was wrong with Skye right then, and that he would surely need help. "Caesar. Damn you. Get. Us. Out. Of. Here. I though you said you wouldn't kill me, you crazed bastard!" Sion cried, though not looking up from those damn puzzles that Caesar had so kindly set before them.

Augustus didn't think he was something good to happen to Skye. Especially as, just pointed, he hadn't been brave enough to come in and save Skye from what Caesar had done. He hadn't come in time to save him.....and he hadn't saved him from this hell right now. Anger issues plus Sion's stupidity made for a very terrible match. Sion would die if he tried to attack this insane Caesar again after he came out of the maze. Caesar would shoot him, or stab him. And it wouldn't stop there. He would continue until Sion died. This wasn't a normal fit. Sion may not have known that Caesar wouldn't have be able to do much if he had just gone straight. But he should have listened to Augustus' advice. Once Caesar had returned from dropping off Augustus, he began laughing and clapping his hands. "It's wonderful~ Like having my own school. And you wont die Sion! Just go quicker. Faster Sion! FASTER!" It wasn't as if Caesar knew that Sion was uneducated. He would have thought that Sion could do simple child puzzles. Besides. His life, and Skye's depended on it. And what was wrong with Skye? "Fine. Fine. I'll give you five more minutes. Poke Skye for me would you? Kick him in the ribs or something? He's being awfully boring just laying there like a useless doll. It's annoying. I changed my mind! You only have two minutes now!" Caesar hit his fist down on the control board, which caused the room Sion and Skye was in to become hot. Quite hot. Slowly the temperature would go up, starting at 1oo degrees Fahrenheit right then. Sion better work fast. The puzzles wouldn't do themselves, and he only had a few more minutes left on his clock. "Tick tock, tick tock~" Caesar sang out. Augustus, on the other hand had began crying. Thirty seconds, he had been counting. He had thirty seconds. No way was he going to be able to walk out of there by then. He could barely move his upper body. His arms had thankfully begun to work when Caesar had grabbed him. And so during those last thirty seconds, Auggie dragged himself the best he could to the small door. But it was taking too long, and was quite hard. God. He needed to lose weight or something. "CAESAR!" Augustus yelled the best he could. But he got no reply. It was taking too long. The walls were squishing him, the freaking ceiling was coming down on him. His thirty seconds had long passed, and the walls were at his sides. But he was at the door and it was open. Augustus had managed to pull himself halfway through the door before the walls were just squishing him too much. "Caesar! Please!" Auggie whined out. The ceiling had stopped coming down on him, but the walls. Oh god. It hurt. Crying out, he was sure he had felt something snap, Auggie tried to pull himself through further, but just gave another cry. He couldn't pull himself further for two reasons. He wasn't strong enough, and the walls were pinning him. Oh god. Were they still closing? "Caesar......please....." Was the last plea that Auggie could make to Caesar.

Skye would surely be dead if not for Auggie right then though. The very first time they had met, Skye had been crawling through the hallways. What if Augustus had just walked on, and Caesar was the one to find him? A disaster, probably a fatal one for the young child, would have been the result for sure. Sion was dead in that case; he would almost definitely attack Caesar once this was all over. Sion just couldn't control rage. Between him and his twin, it was like he got everything Rei lacked. Most Natural Lithius couldn't control themselves at all; Rei certainly could, as she had proven time and time again. Look at her twin; he had never once managed to hold himself back, even over a small matter. Who knows, if there was some chemical in Lithium that caused it, then Rei had avoided it and Sion received what she should of. Sion hissed when Caesar kept talking, while trying to get the puzzles done in time. He gave a gasp of relief when Caesar said he'd get another five minutes; yes, he could finish in that time, thank god... Poke Skye? "Not happening." Sion snapped back, even before Caesar changed his remaining time to two minutes. [censored].
The sudden rise in temperature was terrible. The minute it hit a hundred, the heat still climbing, Sion was about to pass out. It had terrible effects on Skye; the boy started screaming, thrashing madly for no apparent reason. Sion resisted the urge to clap his hands over his ears, struggling to finish the damn puzzles while he broke out in a sweat. No no no... Hands scrambling to finish the last, a simple child's puzzles, Sion gave a wail of despair as the peices slipped between his fingers, still wet from the swim. Scrambling to pick them up, he shoved them into place, before doubling over. He couldn't. Do. Another. Damn. Thing. Luckily for Sion, it was the last thing, but he just landed face first on the ground. It was too hot. He couldn't move. Skye's screaming was fading away...

Skye would be dead. Sion too. Or if they weren't dead they would be in a worse hell then they were now, surey missing many limbs and 'unneeded' parts. Skye crawling through the hallways might not have been a fatal disaster if Caesar had found him....but it wouldn't have gone well like it had gone with Auggie. Caesar would not have gently grabbed the boy up and brought him to eat some chocolate and fruit. Sion was obviously not able to control his rage. It was what had gotten him hurt in many times with Caesar. And no one could ever see Sion learning to control his anger. Not when it came to Caesar. Caesar was able to get under even Augustus skin, so someone could only imagine how much he could irritate Sion. When Sion said he wasn't going to poke or kick Skye, Caesar gave a whine before yelling. "That's not fair! I can't do it myself right now! The boy's being annoying anyways, just laying there. What's his problem? Is he stupid or something?" Caesar began yelling himself when Skye began screaming, covering his ears for a minute, before laughing and giggling at Skye thrashing around. Suddenly becoming bored, Caesar leaned his head into one of his hands, watching Sion drop the peices. Caesar shook his head and looked at the clock. "Too bad...." Caesar commented, before Sion got them in. Glancing at the clock, Caesar gave a frown. Sion had still had a bit of time.....but...."Took you too long. Sion...?" Caesar squinted and looked at the boy on the ground, before pressing a few buttons. The heat dropped, and a door opened. "Congrats. You can live through today's maze." The door was, thankfully Sion and Skye, the way out. That was, if Sion and Skye were still alive. Augustus was sure he was dead. But he wasn't one to give up, so even being slightly crushed between two walls, he had turned to the side the best he could and pulled himself through a few more inches. In a way it was lucky for him, Caesar had slowed the crushing of the walls even if he hadn't totally stopped it. "Caesar! Stop it!" Augustus cried out once more, before gritting his teeth together and pulling himself about an inch further. And that was when he blacked out.

Exactly why, to Sion anyways, Auggie had done enough. All he needed was Skye alive, after all, according to his bizarre mental karma system. And himself staying alive would be great too, and more important to him, naturally, so Sion preferred being alive with all his limbs and 'unneeded parts' in place. Even unable to control himself, which Sion had many times proven himself unable to do, he was still alive and mostly unmaimed with the exception of his leg, something not to be expected, since when Sion snapped he attacked Caesar. Sion didn't bother to respond to the crazed Lithius again; he both wasn't sure he could, and the puzzles were taking every bit of his attention that he could spare. The sound of both Skye and Caesar screaming was unbearable, and Sion felt like screaming himself. A boiling room, that sound, time running out, it was surprising that Sion didn't pass out until he did. Hearing what Caesar said, Sion was sure he hadn't finished fast enough, and was going to be left to die. Ah well, he couldn't move anyways... Sion was just slumped on the ground, still exhausted from the swim and now the heat, making him too weak to move. When the heat dropped, it felt like his skin was burning, and Sion gave a small cry. Sudden huge changes of temperature did that, but thankfully it was short lasting. Seeing a doorway out, Sion groaned, trying to pull himself towards he door. He made it about halfway before turning his head around and remembering Skye, biting into his lip in frustration. The child was not moving, just spasming on the ground, thankfully quieted. Hooking a foot under the towel he had wrapped around Skye as an improvised dry shirt, Sion heaved himself those last two feet, before tumbling onto the ground. Skye landed painfully on top of him, the child's elbow in his gut, but Sion ignored it. Larger room. No danger. Sleep sounded great. Skye looked like he was still breathing, albeit irregularly, so that was good... and with that thought, Sion passed out.
