My eyes widened as I heard Jay's voice and I growled softly hearing her words. "Shut up. None of this is your fault, understand? I did what I had to and did my best to keep everyone safe. Nothing more, nothing less. No matter what you're still the best leader we could ask for and if you knew what I'd gotten myself into while you weren't around, you'd be plucking my feathers pretty hard about it. In fact, I'd get a nice long lecture about how stupid I am so just hush. You too Ren. You did your best but none of us could have predicted any of this. All that matters is that we're safe and we're together."

Jay sighed and looked into Fang's blue gaze. "Thanks Fang. And the minute I'm healed I probably will give you a nice long lecture about whatever you did. Mkay?" She sighed again and turned on her side wincing from the cut on her stomach. Jay realized she had lost almost half her blood within a period of time today. That's why she felt like freaking crap.

"Actually I think I'm gonna go ahead and tell you since you're in no condition to really punish me right now." Smiling nervously I began playing with Hiro's hair wondering how I was going to explain such a big mess to her.

I stay against the wall and watch the others, unsure what to do. A cold feeling came over me and I shivered, my whole body doing this sort of weird shake as it warmed itself up. My wing had stopped stinging and my arm was caked in blood from the scratch, which now itched and felt really weird.

As I prepared a nice monologue in my head I looked at Tristan with concerned eyes. "You wanna come over here and sit next to me? You look cold." Everyone in the flock needed to be cared for one way or another and as long as Jay and Ren were incapacitated I would provide as much care as possible. The moment our leader and co-leader were back in action, I'd become my snarky hot-headed self again.

"And since at this moment since your kinda in charge, whats the plan for tomorrow? Wanna be on the run again, or should we stay here for a while? I don't know about Ren, but I'm pretty tired of laying around all useless." It felt better to be able to talk better now, her voice was still raspy, but it was firmer. Jay struggled to sit up, the wound on her stomach and her broken ankle, not helping the cause whatsoever. She finally gave up, flopping back onto the ground with a small whine of pain. "I hate those freaking wolf-dogs, those freaking Erasers! If I had my way, I would strangle each and every one of them by myself!" Jay mumbled loudly to herself.

I chuckle a bit and look over at her " put them on leashes, it'd be easier to strangle them when they don't have control. Tied even to a tractor and let them run." My mind went weird places some times, this seemed to be one of those times. I debated on shutting up and just standing there but I'd make up my mind when I heard responses.
