.:Sasha:.]
Sasha pretended to be shocked at the thought of her not trusting him. She gasped and widened her eyes. "I think you know the answer to that question. Of course I trust you." She took a step towards him "After we just killed a snake, you found out I was dragon kin, and we shared our thoughts with each other I'm sure I trust you way more than anyone else I ever met here." She grinned at him. "So what do you have in mind, Entric?" She had seen him flirt with girls at first but never really talked to him. Today was the first day they had ever talked and they seemed to hit it off really well. He was probably already one of her best friends although she didn't have many friends in this place.
The Universe is very, very big.
It also loves a paradox. For example, it has some extremely strict rules.
Rule number one: Nothing lasts forever.
Not you or your family or your house or your planet or the sun. It is an absolute rule. Therefore when someone says that their love will never die, it means that their love is not real, for everything that is real dies.
Rule number two: Everything lasts forever.

.:Feathers:.
"No I loved living with the animals, they people here took me away from them... Mind you I didn't know how to communicate with other people." Feathers said rather quietly, she had loved living with the animals, they cared so much for her, raising her when her own family had either abandoned her or been killed. She would rather be there than here... no offence to Tallia. She practically lived out here in the garden, she was didn't like the cold stone halls and loud noises.
~~
.:Entric:.
Entric scanned the halls, he didn't like it in here anymore, he couldn't help but feel something else would come slithering down the hall... or stomping, whatever the monsters here did. "Why don't we head to the garden? Some fresh air would be nice." he said sticking his hands in his pockets and pushing off from the wall. He knew they should probably report this to the Master, but that could wait, he was sure the man had plenty more to worry about.

Sorrin
Sorrin sighs a bit at her question and looks down at the ground for a moment before looking back to her. "Well, no I guess they don't go down there normally. It's a long trip and can be pretty dangerous if you get lost in the dark." He says the last with a bit of a haunted expression, as everyone from under dark knows just how dangerous it can be to stay in that utter blackness for too long. "But no, I was here when they found me... Things got to be too... Difficult for me there." How do you explain having to run away from everything you ever knew just to survive? Even home's welcome wears out sometimes. He rolls his shoulders a bit before continuing. "I used to be an alchemist, and apparently they think of that as some type of magic, though I have yet to successfully cast a singe one of the 'spells' they've tried to teach me." He smiles a bit then, remembering all the little clippings he is carrying in his pockets. "I still make pretty good potions though."
Jordan
Luckily enough, the horse book that Jordan ended up with is full of hand drawn illustrations and he spends much of his time simply looking at them. Though not much of an artist himself, he still appreciates their technical detail and the painstaking exactness that the author put into each of them.

Tallia Amshaw
"Of course you loved it. They obviously loved being around you. Like I said, you had a life, people- well animals- that cared about you. Nobody even wants to be around me, not even in the same room." Tallia said. She looked down, not wanting Feathers to see the tears that were forming in her eyes. Everyone seemed to have a good life before they came here. She was just useless coward, who was unable to do anything or even to be like a person.
Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply! (Warning that quality of applications is strictly judged. Very strictly judged.) The link is in the image.

.:Sijach:.
Sijach smirked a little at what Sorrin said, most students were the exact opposite, having been happy where they came from and here being utter misery. She had never been happy, not where she had been, not how she got here, and definitely not here. "You're one of the lucky ones. You get to be happy with what you're stuck with." she said leaning back against on the of the trees, hiding in the cowls of her dark cloak. She winced as something pushed against her ribs, a burning searing her from the inside. This happened fairly often ever since the head had unlocked her magic, it wasn't properly contained now, hurting her every once and a while when it bubbled up.
~~
.:Feathers:.
Feathers could see the look on Tallia's face, even if she tried to hide it, she could feel the cold, sad feelings wafting off of her. She reached over and resting a hand gently on the girl's shoulder. "There is someone out there who want's you who's looking for you. They lost you or they have yet to find you, but they're out there and all you have to do is look." She said with a warm little smile, hoping she could cheer the girl up. Feather's had never had a real family, but she couldn't help but look on Tallia on a little sister almost.

Sorrin
Sorrin studies Sijach with a bit of curiosity, considering her words. "Well yeah I guess so... But I take it from your words that you are not happy here?" In his life, he has seen many people who are unhappy with what they have or where they are. However, he himself has spent so long just trying to survive that just making it through another day is reason enough to be happy. Thus, people with sad stories always interest him, and he is actually watching her close enough to notice her flinch. At first, he is going to ask Sijach if she is alight, but then something makes him think batter of it. He really doesn't know her all that well, and who's to say if she would even welcome the concern. Instead, he simply lets the moment pass without saying anything.
Jordan
Sitting on the mantle above the large hearth that heats the library, a clock slowly begins to toll out the hours and Jordan looks up from his book at it. In his mind, he can easily deconstruct the device and he spends a long moment thinking about the many tiny gears and their inter-connected workings. It is only after contemplating a way to replace the pendulum with some manner of mechanical water wheel that he actually takes in the time on it. It's been awhile... I wonder how Aurora is doing? Is she still speaking with them?

.:Sijach:.
"I hate it hear. I'm the head's little slave. I can understand things like tracking down students... slightly but getting him his food. I guess my life outside wasn't very good either but it was better than this." Sijach snarled, glaring down at the gravel intensely enough it might just melt under her gaze. She shook her head, it wasn't anyone else's problem but her own. She was the one who had been stupid enough to get caught on a mission and she was suffering for it, she always would. "So how was life in the UnderDark?" she asked, trying to switch the topic, there was only one other Balitor here and she didn't exactly talk to him.

Sasha let out a small laugh. "A green wanting to go to a garden. Hmm." She said teasingly. "But fresh air would be great." She said with a smile and a tilt of the head to look up at him. She began to walk down the halls to the garden, going the wrong way unknowingly.

Sorrin
Sorrin watches Sijach with much curiosity, and though he is a bit intimidated by her vehemence, he is still curious as to just what it is about the tower that would be so bad. I guess it might be kind of annoying not being able to leave if there is someplace you would rather be, but its not really all that bad, is it? He thinks for a minute, studying her with his amber eyes for a long moment before she continues, asking about Under Dark. Somewhat surprised that she is interested, his first reaction is to shrug. After all, it's kind of hard to explain something that you just always took for granted, Under Dark wasn't really 'like' anything for Sorrin, it simply 'was'. "Well, umm, I lived in Amcathrin pretty much my whole life. It's the biggest city down there, and I guess it is pretty much like any other city, except underground... You know, rock overhead." He trails off for a moment, realizing that he probably isn't making much sense. After thinking about it for a second, he continues. "It's kind of a hard place to make a living, especially if you're not Drow." He can't help but let a bit of his distaste and fear show for the dark-skinned elves. "They control pretty much everything, and they don't much care for Balitors or anyone else who isn't a Dark Elf and some of them go out of their way to make other people's lives miserable." He finishes, glancing back up at the stars overhead, wondering if someone from up here would feel as odd with the rock above their heads as he does with nothing but sky.
Jordan
Jordan struggles with his thoughts for awhile, absently looking back down at the book without actually seeing it. Eventually, he gives up with a sigh and closes the volume. I guess it can't hurt to just walk by the offices... Besides which, I think I've had about enough of the library for the day. Getting up, he picks up the book and returns it to the shelf before slowly making his way out of the room.

.:Entric:.
Entric rolled his eyes "I'm supposed to love nature." he muttered, he actually didn't really like the outdoors... except for hunting. He was more one of those people they had no where to put so they stuck him in Green. He let Sasha walk for a minute, trying to find a way to say she was going the wrong way without sounding or being insulting. If he ever wanted them to be any more than friends he would have to refrain from being insulting. "Um... Sasha..." he said, clearing his throat. "The garden's this way." he added, pointing down a completely different hall.
~~
.:Sijach:.
Sijach nodded, she could have guessed the relationship between Balitors and Dark Elves by the way the Dark elves from the black order treated poor Will, the magicless wolf guy who always sentenced himself the the tower walls. She followed Sorrin's gaze up to the stars, smiling a little. She loved the stars, they reminded her of home. It was the same pictures and symbols she had watched blink to life out of her bedroom window as a child back in the desert. Back then everything had been right, well not right, but as right as it needed to be for her to be happy. "Stars are wonderful things. No matter where you go they're always there to watch over you... My parents used to tell me that stars were people who had died looking down on those they loved that still lived and watching over them." she said with an almost childishly sad voice.
