Kirose looked around the beach, dragging her bare feet through the soft sand. She gazed out at the water, watching the glimmering waves crash against the shore, being illuminated by the moonlight. Her long dark hair, was blowing behind her in wavy tendrils as a slight breeze came through. Kirose enjoyed this kind of alone time, none of the other avians around with their joy and happiness. She could be alone and be herself, not the Kirose everyone saw. The dark, sarcastic, and mean people-hater, but now on this beach, surrounded by tranquility and birdsong, She could let her other side show. The suffering teenager who enjoys art and color, but this side is harsher than the other. Kirose picked up a long stick and gently placed the smaller end into the sand while dragging it along. She seemed to be walking in random patterns, but she was actually drawing a very large scale portrait of the flock. Every member she had met, with intence detail in every face. It was beautiful if you first saw it, but as you continue looking you can see the pain and stress behind everyone's smile, the look of dead hope in everyone's eyes. The longer you looked, the more frightening it became. You'd think drawing this masterpiece in the sand would be idiotic, it would wash away in a matter of hours, but the wasn't the case with this one. As Kirose finished the last stroked, she quickly flew onto the top of the cliff and held her palms out. A bright flame began to appear on her hands before shooting down, and very carefully bathing over the picture. She closed her eyes, and using her other power, condenced the molecules in every grain of sand, putting pressure on the enitire beach. And before the first wave of water reach the work of art, it was glass. There were mysterious pictures like this on many beaches around the state, each one different. Pictures of deformed creatures in cages, people in labs being tested on by scientists, and other momentoes of her time at the school. One glass picture, was of a small kids crying for her parents as she was being dragged down a hallway. It was a picture of Kirose herself, the very first memory she could remember. After ruefully looking at her art, she spread her wings and flew back to the house, landing lightly on the roof, and switching back to Kirose that she let people see.
