Crush - Gareki
• ○ • ○ • ○ • ○ • ○
I ws a bit confused when the raven headed teen suddenly stood up from his seat. My entire body bent backwards akwardly so I could allow him space and not accidentally have him crash into me. without a word, he distanced himself, and I just watched in a puzzled silence. The first thought that came to mind was,'Do I smell bad or somethin'?'.
I pondered the thought, and just started to lift my arm as Gareki's voice broke the silence. Immeditately my arm snapped back to my side as I thought dryly,'Okay, maybe I'll check later.. Or ask him, but, maybe not myself.' My attention floated around until I heard his name and his question, in which I tilted my head.
I turned to Gareki fully to see his head tilted back, as if posing. I could've sworn that he was set in life, perfect as a model or some other body engaging life choice. As a writer, I was able to note small details. Including the striking way his hair feathers back, like a flock of birds parting to reveal that pale, porcelain white face. It was then I was truly able to see his eyes, despite the strange angle he was aimed at, and it made it a little difficult to see them totally clearly. But they too were beautiful. His lashes were long and dark, and the kind that could make a woman, desperate for vanity, easily jealous. I was not that type of woman, and just dressed casually, but I could never call myself beautiful. Not only were his eyelashes exemplary, but as were his eyes in whole. the pupils shimmered like two coins born from the ocean. The swirled and glinted with a bright, extrodinary sea-green, proving to be unlike any others I have ever seen. my lips prted, as I was about to speak, but I was far too distracted by his wonderful design in a whole. the boy seemed as though he belonged to a novel, or fairytale, and simple was stuck in this crazy world we call earth.
But I saw more than beauty in him. This boy looked like he had a hidden dark side, a past that has never been exploited far past his striking exterior. His act was futile in my eyes, I could tell from the way he spoke that he wished to have nothing to do with me. So, I my interest peeked. 'Already Im setting a goal for myself; I want to end this year as his friend. I want to be good enough for him to trust me. The only question is, can I trust him?' My new goal would be hard to accomplish, but I could tell that it would be quite envigorating.
Blinking a few times to snap myself out of the land of my mind, I simply smiled to Gareki calmly. My green eyes sparkled with a friendly, unhurt kindness from his could statement. I witnessed the cleverly held pocketbook in his hand, and fumbled about for the resource. After I found it in my back pocket, after checking every other possible place it could be, including my mana's mouth, I smiled a little brighter. With a hum, I flipped the cover open, and skimmed past the table of contents, and other usless pages before I stumbled upon the page of Workshop one. There, in the blanks were my name, and as he stated, Gareki's name. I took a few seconds before I snapped the book shut and smiled eagerly to Gareki.
"You know, as nice as these handy little pocketbooks are," I said, with a giggle as I tossed mine into the air and caught it, looking at the book as thugh it were a childs toy. I looked directly into Gareki's eyes, hoping to make him see me, and not just my skin and hair. I smiled calmly, then replied,"I prefer meeting people face to face. For all you know, could've stomped into the room, with reading this handy-dandy notebook, and completely mispronounced your name! Now how horrible would that've been, huh, G?" I said with a small shrug, having fun with the shortened nickname I had already assigned him with."How could we ever be friends if we just relied on what a bunch of paper told us? They could've even messed up our names entirely! Therefore, I conclude this question with; Meeting face to face with someone is far more beneificial than believing what you read! The end!~" My voice swooped and I completely gone wihtout know that I was walking over to Garki with a grin plastered o my lips. When I had finished, and announced it, I had taken each of our books, and without another word, tossed behind my back and held out my hand, as if to try again, and at least get Gareki to shake my hand now that he didn't need to worry about a flimsy rulebook.
[[LOL Yep, that totally just happened. I seriously love your and my character. This is funny!~ :3 ]]
