For a moment I considered glomping Hiro and making random declarations about his adorableness but then I realized that he would definitely hate that so I settled for kissing his cheek instead. How much candy had he eaten? Three, right? Would that result in a sugar rush? I definitely didn't want to find out so I took a few steps away from him. He probably needed some space anyways. Sighing softly, I glanced at Storm then back at Hiro. "If this goes badly I swear I'm going to put you through some vicious cuddling. I took a deep breath, and finally approached the puppy boy. "Can we talk for a bit?"

Dr. Alex smiled at the improvement of the experiment. He glanced down at hes clip board and wrote down a series of notes regarding the experiments speed and agility. He looked up at the experiment again with a devious grin, now that he had gathered the information he needed, he wanted to have a little fun. He flicked a switch on the wall beside him, which made various lazers randomly dart across the air, like an unfriendly laser maze game. The lasers weren't directed at Veren but he would have to pay close attention if he didn't want to be injured.

a smile teased on Storms lips. "Only a little." He teased. He was actually glad Ren returned, he was tired, more than usual and he didn't like the feeling that he was getting from it.

Storm was surprised to look up and see Jinx. "Sure." He stood up, "Uh, be back in a bit bro." he said to Ren then faced Jinx.

Hiro's eyes widened at her statement. Oh crap. He could not let her cuddle him too hard, even though it was really funny. If she wanted to cuddle with him then it would mean that something was wrong and he did not want that. He sighed and looked up at the sky as she went off to talk to the mutt, spotting a few crows flying in a shaky formation. He climbed up on the lowest branch of the nearest tree and jumped off, soaring up to their level. They scattered when he came up, but after a few minutes of scrutiny from afar they fell in around him. He smirked and looked at the one closest to him, finding that it was already inspecting him.

Not wanting to give myself time to back out of this I grabbed his hand more roughly than I intended to as I dragged him off into the trees, speaking rapidLy the entire time. "Look, I just wanted to say that I'm really really sorry about being a total idiot and stuff. Storm was a little startled when Jinx abruptly drug him into the forest. "Jinx I-" he was having a little trouble talking a being drug at the same time, so he stopped and at the same time Stopped Jinx. He started over. "Jinx, I'm releved to hear those words from you. And it doesn't mean nothing to me, it means everything to me. You mean everything to me. Without you, i would have never stopped and took a look at my life and decided that the right thing to do was to protect you guys rather than return you to the School. Without you, I would still be a worthless mutt that meant nothing to everyone around. Jinx, without you, I would have hated life." He was fighting back tears.

Dr. Alex smiled as one of the lasers hit the bird-kid. "Alright. Let's call it a day." he called the Erasers back and turned the lasers off, giving the experiment a chance to land. He approached the bird-kid with some Erasers as guards beside him. "How about we let you rest a while." he said. "And today i feel like being generous, you can rest in here today for awhile. Sound good." he suggested.

It was a well known fact that I was terribly impulsive and did most things without thinking. Sometimes, I just did things without taking any consequences into account. This was one of those times.
