Beck stood up and rested her head on Kale's shoulder. "I didn't mean to kill them," she whispered.

Ace smiled and kept going his hooves hardly touching the ground as he galloped through the mountains.

Vera nodded, following along him, the wind blowing through her hair as she walked.

"I think we should go to sleep now," she whispered.

Zack ducked under a low bridge and crawled on his belly through to the other side. He kept going until he reached an old tunnel. After he sniffed the air he padded down into the ever downward sloping tunnel. Then the tunnel sloped upwards and they emerged into a beautiful glade. "you need to be a quiet as possible," he whispered. He continued to pad along until he reached a huge tree with carvings on it and painted symbols. He knocked on the tree with his paw.
"Yesssss?" a voice hissed.
"Where are the criters Slith?" he asked.
"Sssssinssss the den," the voice replied. A large snake with an otter's head and a horse's legs came out. "Ssssshello Zack! I seesssss you broughtsssss a friend to putssss her marking on sssssthe tree?" Slith said.
"And see the OIH," he whispered.
"Okaysssss" Slith replied.
"This'll be fun. I hope you like it," he said.

"No, I love riding I could do it forever it just feels weird having you answer me back when I talk to you" She said patting Ace on the neck

Beck leaped in the window and curled up in her bed.

Vera followed quietly, hEr bare feet gently rubbing against the ground as she bent down, and later against fresh minty grass. She nodded a silent ok to Zack, and tried to be as quiet as possible, but her eyes slightly widened as the creature came out. "What was that? And what's a marking?"
