All Is Lost Again - A Shapeshifting RP

Miko was looking at Damon for a moment and then she turned her head to look out the window on the street, she could see there wasn't too many people at this time but it was really late so it wasn't that strange. She turned her head hearing his question and smiled slightly "I was borned here so I am living here from the begining" she replied and after few seconds she asked him "How about you?"

Damon blinked, glancing at her for a split second before returning his gaze to the road. "Umm... I moved here about five or six years ago..." He sighed, rubbing his face. He stifled a yawn. "My dad had gotten a job offering... He's... gone now though..." Damon trailed off, watching the outside roll by as they drove along.

"Oh, so you are not living here too long. Well, my mom told me some time ago there were people who hated shapeshifters, I just don't understand why." she said and then noded liseting him "I understand how painfull it is, my dad died when I was seven years ol so I don't remember him too good. I have many photos with him on them" she replied.

Damon looked over at her, stopping the car. "We're here," He said, giving her a sympathetic look. He turned off the engine and got out, closing the door. He went around and opened Miko's door.

Miko looked around and saw her house, she smiled with a nod "Yep, I see you listened me when I was describing my house" she said and waited for him to open the door for her. She got out of car and looked at him "Umm... Maybe don't walk with me to the door, my mom will think I did something bad" she said blushing lightly not really knowing how to say goodbye to him.

Damon chuckled, shaking his head. "Alright... Umm... Will I see you around, Miko?" He asked, closing her door and leaning on his car. He leaned on his elbow, gazing at her. Being that she was the only other shapeshifter he knew so far, he didn't want to feel alone again.

"Sure, you know where I am living and there's only one high school in this small town. I am on last year as I went to school earlier so you can find me easy." Miko said and then got some idea. She smiled "It would be funny if you would come to my class and call for me when you would be at work. Everyones would think I did something bad": she giggled at her idea.

Damon raised an eyebrow, rolling his eyes. "Alright. Be ready for trouble," He said, laughing. The young policeman nodded to her house, seeing a light come on. "I think you better get inside before you catch a cold or something." He said, beginning to go around the car again. Damon opened his door and stood by it a moment. "See ya around."

Update-5.29.12: If a human gets bitten by a shapeshifter while the shapeshifter is in their animal form, guess what happens? Yepp, you guessed in. They become a shapeshifter, also known as 'The Changed'. A little cliche perhaps but that's how I want it to be:P The catch? There's two. The first, it has to be more than just "I bit you. Now be an animal!1!!1" No, the human has to be attacked by the shapeshifter. Like, severely so the human is on the verge of death. The second isn't so much of a catch although it could be considered one, depending on how it affects your character's situation. The first month or so after they've been attacked, the new shifter is "unstable." Constantly switching back and forth between forms with barely any control. This can be dangerous because if they're seen by another human, they might freak and tell someone and after word spreads, guess what'll happen? That's right: Bounty Hunters. Now take this information and do with it what you will ;)
Note: If some of your characters get attacked, keep in mind that not all of you can survive..
