she looks at him "That doesn't sound like her at all, is she okay?" she leans forward again and moves his hair from his face again and out of his eyes. She smiles and leans back against the railing

"I donno. I haven't seen her all day." John said, sounding slightly worried. "Though Toby said something about his dad and how he used to abuse Aster..."

her eyes shot open she bit her lip "I hope she is okay" she looks down at the beach hoping she was there or someone around close. She nibbles on her lip again she didn't look back at John or Lilly or Toby

John sighed. "So do I." He said, staring out over the ocean. Lilly opened her eyes and looked up at him. She sat up and put a hand on his cheek. "Your eyes match the sea, daddy." She said. John smiled slightly at her, still looking forlorn. "Yeah, I guess they do." He said quietly. Lilly smiled and fell back asleep, still sitting up.

she sighed knowing how Aster felt she had gone through the same thing and she could not let the baby loose it's mommy or the mommy loose her baby. She knew how hard it was and she knew the pain. Her eyes water and a tear ran down her cheek trying to draw attention to her self she said nothing and just stared out at the ocean not blinking her ice eyes glowed as more tears ran down her cheek she bit her lip harder trying to get her eyes to stop watering.

John looked over at her and gently brushed the tears off her cheek. "Want to talk about it?" He asked in a quiet voice. Surprisingly, he was a good listener. "You don't have to, though. If you don't want to..." He smiled shyly.

she jumped a little feelings him touch her cheek she looked over at him and smiled softly "If you want to listen" she blinks her eyes feeling more tears slide down her cheeks

John's expression softened and he again brushed the tears off her cheek. "Tell me. Please." He said, still keeping his voice quiet. His blue eyes held the slightest bit of worry.

She looked at him as he touched her face again she bit her lip softly and sighed "Can I trust you?" she looked him in the eyes her ice eyes glowing from the tears that streaked down her face

"Of course you can." John answered softly. He tilted her chin up a bit so he could look into her eyes. A soft smile lighting up his features. "You know I would never do anything to hurt you."
