“Yeah he’s nothing but trouble. So why are you even touching him. You’d swear he was like family...er I mean ex-family.”Buffy said, frowning.

"SHE is **** friend, my friend at least. Not an old time friend, either." Anya said.

The demon looked up at Anya and grinned, feeling understood.

Willow said," A new demon friend?"

Anya practically glared at Willow. "Humans don't really make 'new demon friend's."

“Okay I still wish we could understand what she is. I don’t know why she won’t let you say. I won’t harm her.” Buffy said. It was true, as much as Buffy didn’t trust the demon she wouldn’t harm her.

Anya sighed, "Demon is a he," she proceeds to point at the demon, "this one is a she".

"How can you tell?" Willow asked.

"She-demons are more reasonable. Also, I know what the demon does and I know how it would be that way," Anya explained.

The demon jumped out of Anya's arms and sat under un-overturned table, looking embarrassed.

“Well why does she seem embarrassed?” Buffy asked looking at the She demon.

"If you were a demon, would you want attention being drawn to you and you aren't comfortable with it? Like say you were pointed out to the slayer or a weakness was shown. Not that she's embarrassed about either of these things."

“Well it’s not like we mean to make her feel uncomfortable.” Buffy said. Princess sat at her feet, glancing at the demons but staying away from them.

"He does," Anya said, pointing at Willow.

"Anya, I'm a girl.." Willow said.

“Your acting like the he demon switched bodies with Willow, Anya.” Buffy said.

Anya stared Buffy blankly, pointed to the demon and Willow, and nodded. "Ya think?!"

Willow looked uncomfortably at the demon. "I'm pretty sure I didn't used to be that. I think I'm me!"
