Shadow smiled " Good bye I'll be back later." She grinned and walked around she found a bakery. She talked to then and then ordered a pretty red velvet cake it had a nice cold frosting on it. Shadow walked back to.the mansion. Entering she called out. " Leon? Cecily? Anyone?" She called and walked into he kitchen were she told the chef about the cake. She need Leon to come with her his gift to Alice and Cecily need to.come also for her gift as well.

Leon looked up at the sound of someone arriving then entering the house. He sighed, then looked at Yuki. "Let's go inside, I think my guest has returned. She went into town for some items for my servant. It's her birthday soon." He said, then lead her to the door, opening it and entering. As soon as he entered, he heard Shadow call out his name and Cecily's. "I'm here, Miss Shadow." He called. He glanced down at Yuki, hoping she didn't freak out at a woman staying at the house. Then the thought of his guest questioning him on his marriage denials came into mind... A few explanations would be in order...

Shadow smiled "Leon I need you to come with me to get Alice a gift from you or at least tell me what you want to get her." she looked up at him and saw Yuki. "Hello. Are you going to help too?" she gave a big smile. Then looked at Leon "Come on we have to go." she gave him a secret smile.

In Leon's opinion, the girl didn't deserve anything now. Not when she was like this. However, he put on a mask of generosity, and smiled. "I think she would like some new paints and brushes, she does enjoy painting." He mused, then looked at Yuki. "No, she should stay here. I do need someone else here besides the two servants, I'd feel much safer. Besides, she should get used to the house, she'll be staying for a long time." He looked at Yuki, smiling. "Of course, I won't be long, so you just stay here, okay?"

Shadow smiled and waited for Leon "Paints i knew I was forgetting something." she sigh then turned.

"I wouldn't say you had forgotten them, as they are not a necessary thing for this party, merely a present. I know which ones she likes." Leon said, though looked up the stairs. "I'll be with you in a moment, I should get different shoes. Come, Yuki, I have something I need to discuss with you as well." He said to his new probable bride-to-be. He walked up the steps, not allowing for protest. He was silent as he walked up the steps, thinking about this party. It was quite ridiculous he thought, and never would have happened if this girl had not appeared. Alice might be the same if it weren't for her, who knew? He sighed lightly, somewhat wishing that he didn't become so obsessed about having someone to talk to at all times and worried that he may be killed for what he has done.

She breathed out when the two left Cecily in the garden. She was just lucky she wasn't caught slacking off or she would have been in huge trouble. All this talk though between the master and these woman who were just showing up was disturbing Cecily more than the thought of trouble at this point though. Why did all these woman just out of the blue decided to see if they could marry master? They had no right to him, well, as woman of high birth they had a higher claim than Cecily would ever hope to possess, but it wasn't the woman's call in final marriage decisions after all. She pouted slightly to her self a scowled a bit. She didn't like the notions of today so far. When she heard Miss Shadow call for her Cecily didn't budge. She wasn't in the mood for running off with any of the woman who had arrived today. Since she was yet to be discovered in the garden, Cecily decided to stay there and relax a bit, try and pull her mind off the situations around her. The clouds were pretty lovely after all, and very calming.

Yuki
I didn't protest as I followed him up the stairs, and thought what he had to say to me but this was the last thing on my mind. What I didn't get was why were they throwing a party for a servant even if it was her birthday, ever since I came to this country I thought it was the strangest place. They were so different in beliefs and the way they did things, and some of those things were making their way to my country. I didn't like that my home was changing and if Leon did marry me, I would have to get used to the way things were here. I kinda wondered if he would care weather or not I wore these dresses, because I couldn't stand them and one time one of my maids pulled the corset too tight and I almost passed out. I went back to thinking what he had to talk with me as I followed him.

Alice
I had taken a short nap after crying myself to sleep, I was now looking out the small window that was so old that it wouldn't even open. All I had to look at was the vast property and it was the back so I couldn't even gaze at the town. I wondered what was going on outside this room. I thought for sure by now that man would have done and tired to use his witch craft on me again....maybe it only worked once or something I didn't care. I just wanted to be free of this place and go home, or at least let my father know I am still alive. I had to find a way to do so, but how...

I blushed and smiled as I walked next to him"Thank you, and I've had a few mostly men my father has chosen. They were all nice but I never really took a liking to any of them in that way." I was still lightly blushing, from his compliments. Lamont was a handsome man and he had the same love for weapons as most of my families men, he would make a fine suitter for any women; I was still trying to decided if my feelings for him were only skin deep or if they could possible be true.

Leon stopped on the second floor, right before his room, and turned to Yuki. "Now, I have to tell you what to do while I'm gone. One thing, do not let my servants out of the house. One is locked in her room at the moment, but if she does get out, she'll likely try to escape. I didn't want to tell you this in front of Miss Shadow because she seems to want to make me fall from my perch in society, and is trying to get rid of my servants." He said quietly to her.

"Well, at least he can help and isn't forcing you to marry someone. My father is threatening my sister that if she doesn't marry soon he would find someone for her himself." Lamont told her, now entering the kitchen. "Ah, good, she left the tea here." He said, grabbing two cups from the cupboard. He poured her a cup of tea, handed it to her, and poured his own. He gestured to a small table in the kitchen. "Have a seat." He said with a smile.

I smiled and took a seat and took a sip of my tea before speaking again"True, but I do feel one day my fathers patients will run out with me, I am already seventeen" Actually my father had already said if I didn't find someone by the time I was eighteen the choice would be his alone and I would have to deal with it. So lately I have been trying to find someone, I didn't know who my father would pick. I'm sure the man would be nice, but that wouldn't mean I would love him. I didn't want to loose my freedom to pick who I would be willing to bind my self to and have children with. I set my tea cup back down and lightly traced the edge with my finger

I keep a serious face and nodded "I understand, my bags should be here soon so I can keep one of them busy with helping me and I'll keep a eye out for the other if she tries to escape."I said and understood the situation, it was often people in Japan tried to take out one another if they were in their way. I couldn't have this happen to the man I was willing to spend my life with. I guess it didn't matter where you went every where had their fair share of truly evil people, sometimes it seemed they out weighed all the good ones making it hard to find them and when you do it's hard to see them; and even at times it's hard to tell the truly evil from the good.
