Sunlight streams from the occasional clear patches of sky. Otherwise, the tall, looming trees block all from view, leaving a dark, strange forest ahead. Fog seeps through the dense forest, rolling here and there, covering everything in a thick, white blanket. The usual sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling are absent, leaving a silent, omnious feeling. The place is serene, beautiful, but at the same time, dark and secretive. A light breeze, sharp and fast, moves through the trees, bending them, making them sway, leaving wshipers on the wind. This is the home of Whisperclan. Home of the clan of the brave, then mysterious, the elusive. Whisperclan is the clan of dark secrets, of foreshadowing and strange prophecies. The independant, loyal, and fearless clan. Their home lies in this strange forest, yet they are a rare sight. The cats of Whisperclan are the ones who allow themselves to be seen. To find them, they must be the ones to show themselves.

You can hear the sirens wailing as you sit on the floor of a dark room, you can't remember what you did, but you remember hurting someone... and you liked it. You make no resistance as the police grab your arms and lift you out of the room, there is no point. They seat you down in a car, your family watching as you drive off... you're never going to see them again. They drive up to a concrete building. A man in a lab coat with black hair and a clipboard stands at the huge iron door. The police grab your arms about and drag you towards him. He gives you a sad conserned look and speaks gently to you;

"Your safe now, you aren't going to hurt anyone else. Welcome to your new home."

.:Basics:.

You are insane in one of two ways; you have a strange but small power that is driving you to insanity or you have been in a tramatic event and something that reminds you of that will turn you into a nut job. You have killed someone or done something bad because of your problem and been sent to an Asylum fro the insane. You are trapped in here with guards at every turn and a scientist that is 'helping' you with your problems but is slightly crazy himself. You must try not to kill anyone, get through your life here and... servive everyone else.

You have been taken away from your family the moment you started to show signs of magical ability. You have been trained for years and years at the Tower of Wizards, where the Wizards' Circle gathers. There are five kinds of wizards and they are all based of your personality; black, white, red, green and blue. You had to take a test when you first joined to see the wizard you would aspire to be. For many years the wizards have work peacefully with one another but now... trouble has arisen. There is corruption within the Circle, people bargoning with demons, devils, spirits of the dead. Friends are becoming enemies, old hatereds along the group are being reawoken. Even more dangerous; the tower seems to be turning against the wizards! It seems to have gained a life of its own; monsters wander the hall, doors lock and trap wizards in with them, people all up and disappear! The leaders of the Circles are moving against each other! The Circle is falling apart and just in time for them to be attacked by the Hunters; Witch Hunters that have been planning and plotting for long years against the Wizards. They believe that no mortals are meant to weild that level of power and many people are begining to think they are right. The Circle is falling apart and no one is going to help it. Perhaps though a few young wizards will be able to rise to the occasion and save their beloved home before all is lost.

To get this straight right away: THIS ISN'T HARRY POTTER! I love Harry Potter but if your looking for that kind of RP then I would suggest you go somewhere else. Another thing; this isn't The Gather, I don't really know what that is or what it's about but I am only using the test for it. Yet another thing, this RP was inspired by many things, but only slightly, the entire plot is all me; Dragon Age, Dragonlance, The Gathering (Test).

The way this is going to start out is that you are a young wizard, already part of the Circle or an apprentice. There has been corruption within the Circle, people killing the Heads of orders for there own gain, there must be a master planner behind all this but no one has found him or her. Not only that but strange things have been happening around the tower. Everything is falling apart and it seems to Circle is doomes, unless someone tries to sort this out soon then all hope is lost.

Welcome to the realms of Raverloft. Are you dead you ask me? No, you are very much alive... too alive for these realms. Yes, your next question: who am I? I- I go by many names; here I am called The Dark One but you may more commonly know me as The Grim Reaper. One last question I shall answer: Where are you? You are in Ravenloft. A dark demi-plane near the depths of the abyss. Here you will meet strange creatures: demons, werewolves, vampires and alike. Here you must find your way out and work with your companions that in your world you might not get along with. The Basics

This is Ravenloft a demi-plane that is attached to many worlds but the one you come from is that of Mystic, a midevil realm. That means no guns, no celephones, no computer or electronces or anything like that. Ravenloft is a realm ruled by evil people but you still have to play the good guys to try and escape it or set everything right. If you are really interested in playing a bad guy, which is going to take a lot of work, PM me and I'll send you the forum if I think you have a good enough argument.

One thing I am going to put out there now: THIS IS NOT TWILIGHT!!! I know some people are going to hate me for this but I personally hate Twilight, I don't have anything against you if you like it. It just isn't my kind of book and it gives the good old Gothic creatures a bad name. This RP is about the werewolves that are the mysteriouse murderes of entire towns, the vampires that seek and love but instead of waiting for her accpetance they force her/him to love them. This is not Twilight; if I see Twilight in here I will send your characters up in green flame and send The Dark One to get you.

Everyone had been saying the world was going to end, that some catastrophic event was about to occur. A meteor, a tsunami, all these things were mentioned. They were right; something that would change the world was about to occur, but not in a way anyone realised. The infection started off small, hitting the Eastern States first. News of this 'epidemic' grew and soon it was too large to be contained. The horror stories that arose were gruesome and some chose not to believe. Two weeks after the initial outbreak, and the nature of the disease has been revealed. It was not a meteor, or some natural disaster that would end the world, but humans themselves, returning from the dead after being infected by the disease.

It is your job as a survivor to band together with others and make for somewhere safe. But where is safety when the rest of "humanity" has returned to life as infected walkers? Your choice: to fight through it or give up.

Gross, right? Also very, very sad. Still, Dru continues on and soon learns that her father

upside down as she comes to learn that she is the very thing she and her father hunted
since she was 10 years old.

A Creature of the Night.

You've always been an outcast.
You don't fit in anywhere. Not at home, school...nowhere. Only
with your friends. And you and your small group have a secret.
You've all learned to shape-shift, and have been prowling the night
as wolves. The thing that allows you to do this grows in only one
area: a rundown furnace that has been condemned for years. No
one goes there, so it's your main hangout, and everyone feels safe

Okay, maybe you're not the biggest Chinese history buff, so I'll throw you some facts. Daoism is a philosophy founded, allegedly, by Laozi, an ancient Chinese philosopher in 550 B.C.E. Basically the idea of it was go with the flow. A pretty chill sect of values. You know, don't do harm to others, love mother nature, don't interfere with the ways of the world....peaceful, good old-fashioned perspectives, like that. And, though there are Daoists in the world today, the one's I'm talking about are much more...free spirited. To say the least. I'll give you a hint: They like tie-dye, and a favorite past time is hugging trees. Guessed yet? No? Well, I guess I have to spell it out for you.

There is a world called Cyren. This world has eight kingdoms, each kingdom has a royal family, special animal, and kingdom guardian. These kingdoms live in peace with eachother. But now an unknown evil force has made each kingdom go against eachother. In this newfound war many are dying and getting injured. For the protection and survival of the royals, the youngest of each family, the ones meant to be the new guardians when the current one has passed, have been sent to Cecryt, a planet not far from Cyren. Now the war rages on while the young ones watch their planet and kingdoms fight the bloody war. What will they do?

-About Kingdoms, Animals, and Guardians-

-Kingdoms-
Each kingdom had a special element. This element is very important because it telles the way of life for each of the kingdoms. It is also their way of survival and protection. Around each kingdom is a barrier made of the element. Only the kingdoms people can leave and enter at will.

-Animals-
The special animals are the first ones to live in the kingdoms area. They can control the element of the kingdom and teach it to the guards and royals. They are not allowed to teach civillians, butler, and maid though. This is to make sure no one rises against the royals. They are usually kept as pets and during this war serve as protection to civillians.

-Guardians-
The guardians protect the kingdom by watching over the barrier. They do not take kindly to civillians and sometimes attack civillians wanting to leave to barrier but stop after only hissing warning. They have two forms, an animal form and human form.

Hello everyone!
I have recentley had a new crave for semi and literate roleplays particularly with a survival theme to it.
My main characters I will roleplay with are:

A twenty-one year old U.S. Secret Services Agent.
You may refer to her as Temptiz, Agent Temptiz, or
737009. She's intelligent, sassy, and quite a flirt. She
carries a small black shotgun in her pocket.

T A Y L O R : J A M E S : H I G G I N S and his dog C H A R I O T
A sixteen year old, quiet boy who's would be
a junior if he didn't get kicked out of his private
high school last spring. He ran away from home
with Chariot. They survive off surroundings and
every once and a while take down an animal for
food with his trusty pocket knife he always has.
He really is a bubbly guy and it's just a matter
of making him break his shell.

The bleached hallways spread through out the school like a group of roads from a mapped highway, telling you where to go. The ceiling tiles above stretch as far as you can see, filling your vision with a dirty white checkerboard. Punishment lurks in the halls, so you try to pay attention in class. The last thing you need today is a heated scolding with the teacher. If you don't fit in with the jocks -removed-. I don't know why any one would come to this place... but hey enjoy your stay.

The Changed: What Are We?

This curse that is upon us started 7 years ago. We didn't know what was happening until it was too late. Wolves and dogs from near and far were being slaughtered or so we thought. One by one our numbers dwindled, our family members and friends disappearing. They were always taken in small groups and at night. We created a plan and sent out a group of three while we hide nearby. We were ready to attack, but we followed the humans after they had captured our fellow comrades.
We stayed close behind them and eventually came to a large compound. We could not enter those gates and helplessly watched as they took our unconscious comrades within that prison. We sent word home of our findings and stayed to find a way in. We tried in vain for months to save our comrades.
One day, we were finally found out and captured by our enemies. What we saw inside that camp, even I cannot repeat in full detail for to this day it still sends shudders down my spine. Some of us were brought in unconscious and some of us, including me, were awake and kicking when we were taken.
Hundreds of metal cages were stacked five high. Each cage had a wolf or a dog in it, though they looked strange. They appeared to be mutilated, some with stubs sticking out of their backs, some with several tails, or strange colors and some with all of the mutations.
We were taken deeper inside the compound and taken into a large room with many tables. The tables had thick chains and straps on them. Each of us was tied down to a table and was surrounded by people in white coats. We were injected with painful things.

From there, the changes and pain began. We were within that hideous place for almost a year, maybe longer. We won't know until we make our way back home. We will escape soon, for we are growing stronger than the humans anticipated. Out of the hundreds of us in this place there are only a handful left. The rest died during the process of becoming, what we call ourselves, The Changed. Will you help us, the surviving Changed, to escape? Will you be a human that helps or one of us?

We do not know the challenges that await us beyond these walls. This will be the journey of a lifetime for everyone. I won't say that we will get along and that we will all live. I will only say that we will do what we must to survive in the unknown wilderness beyond this prison's walls. Will you join us?

8. If you are posting with several characters, please wait for each person to post. Say there are four of you role playing and it takes one person longer to post than the rest of you. Each of you should post once before following up with a post. There are exceptions to this rule, of course.
9. You may role play as many characters as you are comfortable with, as long as you write for them as regularly as possible and don't forget about them for too long!
