I smiled"It's nice out, so a walk sounds nice and I would love to see the gardens as well"I said smiling up at him and nodded. I started to think maybe he wasn't just thinking all about the money but it was still part of how much he would be willing to accept the offer. I was glad that he was at least going to take the time to know me some before anything happened.

Effey
I smiled and waved to his sister"Hello, nice to meet you; I'm Effey, Kane"I said holding out my hand to shake hers"You did a very lovely job on your room,dark mahogany and blue always go together so nicely"I said smiling, his sister was very lovely and shared his red hair but hers was a bit lighter than his.

Leon nodded, takin her hand and leading her to the door. "Then follow me." He said to her, opening the door to the outside world. As he walked along the path of the garden, he looked down at her. "Odd, you're not being your normal self. Normally you'd be jumping around much more than this, and at every chance you got you'd be trying to get a kiss from me." He said, acting as if he sincerely cared.

Genevieve shook the girl's hand. "Oh, I remember you. You were talking to Lamont earlier in town. Nice to meet you." She said with a smile. "Ah, thank you. Blue is a favorite color of mine, and the room had such nice, dark furniture, it was too good to pass up not decorating it in blue." She said, looking around her room. "Unlike Lamont's room, where the wood is light, and the color complimenting the wood is a deep red. We have pretty much opposite rooms, but I'm sure he'll show you."

As Cecily sat idle, hidden in the garden's brush, her train of thought was disrupted by the sound of moving feet and quiet voices. Cecily's body grew stiff. How dreadful the outcome would be, finding a servant hiding alone in the garden while wanted to have a private conversation with another. Cecily knew she was in trouble when she heard the master's voice and knew it wasn't just Alice coming out to tend to things. Cecily didn't dare move for if she did she was afraid that the master or the stranger would hear her. She was hidden enough for now. Cecily was in a more secluded part of the garden and if this was just your average stroll the intruding pair would leave shortly and Cecily could breath freely again. Even so Cecily found herself pressed up tightly against the bushes so that she was almost vanishing from view. Today had been very awkward for Cecily. It seemed no matter where she went she always ended up intruding upon something she wasn't suppose to see or hear. Of course this time around it was they who intruded upon her. Cecily wouldn't dare question such a thing aloud though. Her lips were as tight as her fists as they clutched the hem of her dress. Although Cecily could hear all that was around her, both nature and human, she could only think that she was not suppose to be there.

I smile and nodded"It's a very lovely color, very relaxing and mysterious. Mine is done is dark green and oak for more of a earth feel,since I enjoy nature."I say and smile, thinking of soft luscious fields and deep forest all the sounds of animals and the gentle breeze. I brought myself back, my farther did always say I had a bad habit to daydream and I did; I often found myself daydreaming a lot of times in the day when I had other things to do.

I sat there crying for so long I began to run out of tears, I whipped my face not caring what it looked like; no one was around to see anyway. I laid down and tired to see if I could sleep not even bothering to change into my night dress. I sat there eyes closed, I was tired but sleep wouldn't come and take me away to a wonderland of dreams far away from this place. That was also another reason, I couldn't run; I lived so far away and had no idea how I would even start to get back. I had no money, food, spare clothes I wanted to take, there was no way I was getting back without help; but who could I go to without involving them so much where they get hurt.

Shadow looked at him and smiled she was happy she was doing what she did best caring for a friend "just send word to the dukes mansion." she said and got out a small list she had made she check off dress, she still needed decorations and cake materials. "is that all then?" Shadow asked not trying to sound rude or to much of in a hurry.

Leon nodded slowly. "I see..." He said, trailing off. "So, this supposed love you have, are you sure it is not an infatuation instead? The two are much different. Really, you know nothing of my personal life or my true personality. I could be a sadist for all you know. Maybe I'm just trying to add you to my group of prostitutes. How would you know? If you say trust, that's just silly. You barely know me, in reality, you couldn't trust me to not leave you behind in a dangerous situation." He said, then laughed lightly. "And I would hate to see that pretty little heart of yours crushed if you did see my true face."

She's fussy, almost as if she was courting the duke." She sighed, walking off. "I'll see you two later." She said, waving to them. Lamont nodded to her, then looked at Effey. "Well, how about we see if Lucy has that tea done, hm? She probably thinks we got lost or died up here."

My jaw almost dropped from the words he spoke, it was interesting. I hadn't had too much schooling but I had some from the family school. It took my a minute before I could gather my thoughts to speak, it wasn't the first part about this not being real love that caught me off guard but the last part had.I blinked a few times before speaking"It is not like you are the first man I even had feelings for, so I've compared the two before and know what i feel for you is different in some way. And your right I don't know, so why don't you tell me who is Leon?, Also what man or women could you really trust not to flee in a dangerous situation, humans are all cowards some less than other but still all cowards."I said and allowed a slight smirk to cross my face, I loved studying psychology although my knowledge was still small on the subject; since I wasn't allowed to study further than te family school."And what about me, How much do you really know about me? For all you know I could have written that letter, to trick you into spending time with me and possibly marrying me. I may not even be who I say I am; and what if my plan is to get close enough to you and kill you."I said and this time smiled"You see the world is full of people hiding their true selves from the world because they fear of rejection, some people aren't even aware of their true selves due to their upbringing as children; and they ignore it because they fear it. Your right trust is silly, so right now I can't trust you because I don't know you and what you are willing and unwilling to do; I only trust what I know to be true. Like if a dangerous situation was to come about right now, I would have no idea whether you'd leave me to save yourself or not; but that is because I don't yet know how much of a coward you are or are not."I say

I smiled and nodded"Yes that sounds lovely"I said and laugh slightly"Well now that wouldn't be too good, better go see her soon. So she doesn't freak out thinking her young Master and his guest are dead"I said with a smile. I was enjoying my time here and glad I had come out on my own today.

I nodded with a smile"Yes, ma'am that is all; have a nice day"I said with a charming smile, I had already started on a simple sketch of the dress, making notes here and there.

"If I told you the real face under this mask, you'd have to swear to secrecy, and I may never be able to let you leave this place even if you wanted to. I also would have to tell you indoors." Leon told her simply, then listened to her. "I actually wouldn't be surprised if you faked that letter to force me into marriage, but I'm taking my chances with money on the line." He said, then smirked. "If you attempted killing me, I'm afraid you probably wouldn't make it too far." He stated, nodding lightly. "Fair enough. We're both in the same boat here, neither of us can trust the other."

Have you had anyone asking for courtship?" He questioned, his hands folded in front of him. "I would think you would get at least one. You'd be too pretty to pass up."
