"Ah, good evening my dear Princess!" Casper said, bowing his head as he did so. He and the princess were supposed to be cousins as his father was the king's brother. "May I tell you that you look absolutely enchanting this evening." he complemented.

"Come my dear" she said, Christine followed her over to whear the duke and his son stood. Christine and her mother cursited and then her mother said "Hello sir duke may I introduce you to my daughter. Princess Christine" Christine stepped foward "Hello" she said to him.

"Why thank you Casper" SHe said to him and then back to her parents.

Gabriel slipped gratefully into the crowd, wondering how his Mother had convinced him to come. He sat in an empty chair and watched the people pass by, some dancing, some simply talking.

"Good evening Christine" She said walking over to her.

"If you'll excuse me, I must go back to my father." he told her and disappeared into the crowd, reappearing a few moments later beside his father. They were being introduced to a princess but he wasn't sure which kingdom she came from. "Pleased to meet you, Princess." Casper said with a bow. "If I may ask, which kingdom do you come from?" he asked her.
