[I like that banner very much... might just put it in my signature. hahaha. And yaaaayyyy :D I'm currently attempting to draw Zach more the way I wanted him to look like... not working out yet. x3]

Zailynne sat in the smaller tent where the acts stayed before the show. She boredly traced circles on the table with her finger, creating burn marks in the table cloth.

Sebastian sat in the kitchen, cleaning plates and such. His sleeves were rolled up so they wouldn't get dirty. He quickly dried them off and stacked them, putting them away. He unrolled the shirt sleeves and put his coat back on, and walked out into the tent where everyone else was.

Zach absentmindedly rubbed the back of his head through the ever-present hood of his sweatshirt. Other than during shows, he usually kept his hood up to cover his ears. Oh yeah, about them... they're sort of large. And furry. Rather lynx-like, actually, including a nice little black tuft on the tips. For the show, he'd paint his face to look like a cat/monster and scare little kids. He even had some nice retractable claws and a tail. People would marvel over his "props" and how "lifelike" they were. Sometimes he could barely contain his laughter; other times he had an urge to claw them in the face. It all depends on his mood.

Violet was boredly reading a book, frowning slightly. Her fangs, which were not very big, were now visible.

Zach scanned the other performers in their merry band of freaks. A girl, he was pretty sure her name was Violet, was reading a book and ignoring everyone else. He knew she was a vampire. The boy just walking in, Sebastian, was a demon. Zailynne, the girl sitting across from him, was a witch. She was also about to burn a hole through the tablecloth.
"You'd better watch it; you might just burn the tent down," he said with a hint of a smile.

[I just realized I said Zach is an acrobat... Doh. I guess he can be an acrobat and also scare small children? lol]

Zailynne lifted her finger from the table, the tip of it still flickering a flame. "And what if I do?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.

Sebastian sat down on a bench by Violet. "What are you reading?" he asked.

Zach shrugged. "Then I guess all of us freaks will have to find somewhere else. I hear they're hiring at the Subway downtown; they don't seem too picky. Maybe they'll overlook the ears and teeth and other "impossible" things we have, like that flame on your finger."

Zailynne clenched her fist down, making the fire go out. "Better?" she asked, smiling sweetly.
