- Hisoki's mind had been wondering as he walked along, but the sound of a voice was enough to pull him from his own thoughts. Tilting his head, he turned it in Vesper's direction. One look at her, and he already knew who she was; Unova's champion. During his work, he had come to know who the champions of each region was, though he had hardly worked with any of them aside from Sinnoh's. He simply knew of them thanks to information his job provided. It was useful in case he had run ins with them while he was working, especially since he was in ruined areas. Anyone might think he was up to no good, though it was far from the truth. Still, knowing people of importance made it easier for him to willingly give out his job and the like. He hated flashing his badge to random nobodies after all. Brushing the thought from his mind, Hisoki quirked a brow at her words before letting a hearty chuckle escape his lips. "And what if I disappointed you and said I wasn't a chosen hero?" he mused. All the seriousness that had previously been there evaporated in a moment and was replaced with the childish charm he usually held himself with. "Are you really so quick to trust I am one? For all you know I could have snuck into that meeting." These were tactics he used to use with Takumi to get under his skin. While he was unsure of the girl's nature, it served as a test in the least. He needed to begin getting a read on her if he was going to follow him around. If she couldn't handle his joking, he knew it'd prove to be an amusing time for him.
After a moment, Hisoki turned his head away before deciding to give a real answer. "Luckily for you, I was chosen. Or mayhaps it isn't something you find lucky. You weren't chosen after all, were you Ms. Unova Champ? His words, while still lighthearted, did have a certain smugness to them. Again, he had chosen to try and get under her skin, all while revealing that he was aware of who she was. Perhaps upsetting her wasn't the way to go, but working others up often revealed key information about their personalities and that was something he had specialized in for as long as he could remember. His co-workers often praised this ability of his, but he didn't think it was really something special. He simply didn't trust others, especially those he had to come into contact with. They often hid their true natures in attempt to escape the law. Then again, he too hid behind a facade. Maybe hypocrisy was his true calling.
Continuing to walk, he fell silent for a brief moment before arriving at the Pokemon Center and coming to a stop. "I was coming here to gather some info I was sent from my employer," he admitted, though he decided against going into depth on what his job actually was. "Usually I'd assume such things wouldn't interest the average person, but you're in need of information now aren't you? I definitely didn't see you in the meeting after all." Yet another playful remark. This time it was accompanied by a faint smirk. He was having too much fun already, and it had hardly started.

- Sitting for a moment in silence, Flynn rested his head against the wall behind him and briefly closed his eyes, trying to find some form of peace, but the sounds of the city prevent anything of the like. Besides, his attempt of relaxation was brought to an end when he felt Zygarde nudge his side. His eyes opened in a flash and his gaze immediately moved to the canine, though the moment they did, he noticed its attention focused in front of them. Quickly turning his own head, he looked up towards the man that stood before him. At his side was a Togetic, though that didn't help him identify him any faster. Given it seemed he had come out of the Global Terminal building, he could assume he had been at the meeting as well, though even that wasn't a certainty given the number of meetings that seemed to go on in the building itself. It seemed like a natural hub for trainers around the world to gather in. An odd concept, yet efficient. Brushing that aside, he heard Vince's gasp and immediately noticed that his gaze was on the legendary beside him. It was only natural. It wasn't often legendaries were simply lounging around. They were far too big, or so he could assume, given Zygarde's other forms. The legendary had only agreed to stay in its "weakest" form in order to be allowed to stay out of a ball, though it could only hold its form for so long thus being forced to retreat into its ball for obvious reasons. Lifting a hand up, Flynn patted the top of the dragon's head before he rose to his feet to address the trainer before him.
"No need to be concerned about Zygarde's presence, I promise," he stated, hoping to put him at ease. He could have gone on and shared that the beast had no sure signs of harming people, but he felt that even mentioning that it was angry was counterproductive to his cause, thus opted to leave it as is. For now, only he needed to know of Zygarde's rage towards Arceus. Instead, he decided to focus on Vince's words instead, although in a way, he had already answered it. Still, he gave a nod as confirmation. Before he spoke again, he waited for the other to finish. Hearing him state that he was the chosen hero of Lugia intrigued him. He had studied Lugia quite a lot during his stay in Johto several years ago. He even had gone as far as visiting the Whirlpool Islands on several occasions, though most of his exploration there had been spent calming the pokemon in the caves. Besides, when he did reach the place where the kimono girls said they performed rituals for the legendary, he had found nothing, even after playing bits of the song that he had been told were associated to the guardian of the sea. Still, it had been an experience. Now was no time for him to reminisce in old memories. Straightening his posture, Flynn offered a faint smile before he spoke.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Vince," he started, giving a polite dip of his head as he did so. "You would be right that I am Zygarde's chosen hero, though I suppose it's not too hard to figure out with it out and about like this." A soft chuckle accompanied his words as his eyes briefly moved to the legendary at his side. By now it had rose to its feet as well and snorted in unamusement at its trainer's words. Deciding to ignore its display of displeasure, Flynn continued on with his introduction, "I am Flynn, a traveling pokemon ranger." His moment of pride was cut short as he felt Zygarde nudge at his side, hinting that it was becoming impatient with how long he was taking to get to the point. Luckily, he had become accustomed to the legendary's impatience in the few weeks they had spent together, thus he was quick to ignore it. A bold move, but one he was aware would be fine. "Since we're both chosen heroes, perhaps we should travel together, huh? I know I'd love to go investigate what happened in Northern Sinnoh. They said it was whipped out months ago in the attacks, so maybe there are clues to be found there, if you were interested in joining of course."
