Kaitlin growled, "Mom could care less about me" she obviously hated her mom, who favored Caelan over her, so her aunt practically adopted her. Still though, she loved her brother, hated his smoking habits, but she loved him, so so much. Her eyes watered as she began eating, the girl ate like nobodies business, she loved her food, and damn was it spicy, but she loved the spiciness, it was a high for her.

Dawn was walking down the street just looking around. She had no friends to talk to or hang out with and she didn't really play any ink games since she had no idea on how to play them. She sighed as she walked by store windows looking inside the stores. She stopped to look through a window at people eating. She wondered if she had brought her bag with her then she realized that she had left it at home.

"That's not true and you know it. Mom loves you just as much as she loves me. She doesn't say it enough, I'll give you that, but she does love you. If she didn't, she wouldn't have kept you around for all these years, she would have given you to aunt Marie."

Dawn quickly checked her pockets and found her wallet. She gave a sigh of relief and pondered on what this place was. She heard her stomach growl then she knew she had to find something to eat but there was one problem. There was a fire urchin inside the building and she has always been afraid of them.

Blaze looked at the girl who walked in and said to her from behind the bar. "You gonna buy something or just stand there?" as he cleaned a cup and put it down. He could see the girl was afraid, of him? He walked away and an Octoling took his place who said "Sorry about my boss, I'll take your order if you want."

Dawn looked at the octoling and gave a small smile. "Sorry i've been afraid of urchins since i was small...I'm new here do you have any specials today?" Dawn asked starting to calm down.

Something inside her snapped, she got up and grabbed her brother by the collar, "Shut up. Don't you ever say her name again, you never had to deal with mom like I did alright" she let go of his collar and stormed out, she was so angry.

'i'm standing right here' a friendly voice came from within the shop and sushi almost jumped. "ah, so you are! sorry about that, i thought you werra' customer too!" she chirped in reply, offering the blue inkling a smile.

rocking back and forth as the girl spoke, sushi tilted her head to look towards the direction that the other voice had came before looking back to azurine with a giggle. "s'okay! uhh.." sushi held out the light pink splattershot jr. towards azurine. "y'see, uhh, like... the trigger on the gun got trapped, i can barely shoot ink wi' this. i was hopin' somebody'd be able t'do a thingamajig to maybe make itta' bit easier to shoot?"

"sushi, by the way! you have such a cute tentacle style! oh- sushi as in my name, not the food!"

Azurine took the splattershot jr. and examined it. "I could probably fix this real quick," she said, with a grin. However, when she heard Sushi comment on her tentacle style, she blushed, her photophores glowing brightly. "C-cute...?" Laughing awkwardly, the blue Inkling ducked into the workshop. "J-just wait right there!"

Anthony continued his work, looking up at Azurine entered the room. He chuckled. "Looks like someone is embarrassed~ Accept the compliment!"

sushi's face brightened up as azurine mentioned that she could fix it and the pastel pink inkling immediately bounced on the tips of her toes. "really?! that's awesome!" excitedly she chimed.

nodding rapidly as azurine excused herself to go and fix her splattershot, sushi rubbed at the back of her neck with a wide grin. "thanks, uhhh, miss!"

with azurine out of the room, sushi was left alone... whistling lowly to herself, she quietly walked over to the service counter and leaned against it, hoping that the repair wouldn't take too long... also that the cute assistant squid that hadn't mentioned her name didn't notice the fact that sushi's splattershot jr. smelt like jam.
