((Hey there- I've got this bookmarked and am gonna join, but right now I'm only on season two, episode 3- so I'd like to try and get current before I join I've got a form for a original character typed up, and once I'm caught up I'll edit and post it And man, I wish I could just jump in and say I'd do Barry, but I am horrible at playing canon characters... at least, I don't have like, any practice at it, so xD but yeah- just thought I'd let you guys know I'll be stalking o.o))

Full name: Genevieve Mattie Kennard
Nickname: Gen or Viv
Metahuman ability: Can temporarily borrow another person’s traits or abilities.

Age: 20 years old
Body: 125lbs and is 5’4’’ tall.
Eye color: Green
Accessories: Almost always wears leather gloves and her father’s Navy dog tags.


Genevieve is a rather shy and independent person. She tends to stay to herself, only really being around people close to her. She trusts a little too easily since she has trouble seeing the bad in people, though. She’s energetic and loves to learn new things and see new places.

Fears: Hospitals, guns, and excessive physical contact.
Hobbies: Wood carving, photography, and climbing things- such as the exterior of buildings and places where she probably shouldn’t be.
Skills and weaknesses: While she is a daredevil and fairly skilled in climbing things and running away, she locks up around crowds or unfamiliar people. She’s a fantastic liar, but will only lie when very necessary.

Overview: Gen has the ability to temporarily borrow someone’s traits or abilities through touch. With normal people if she touches someone with her hands, she gains some of their aspects- touch a police officer, and she may be really good with a gun for a while. Only once has she come in contact with a metahuman- she was at the bank while Clyde Mardon was there to rob it. He had shoved her out of the way, and because of the brief contact, she managed to make it rain on herself for 60 seconds until the ability vanished.
Weaknesses: Upon touching someone, the process her cells go through gives her a horrible migraine for a few seconds, and the longer she touches someone, the longer the migraine will last. But she doesn’t gain the knowledge on how to control the other person’s ability- if she shook Barry’s hand she would have no idea how to control the speed. She cannot borrow more than one ability at once, and it only seems to work through her hands.
Strengths: However many seconds the contact is determines how long she will have the power (it's always 30x=Y):
Touching for 1 second= 0.5 minutes (30 seconds) of having the power,
5 seconds= 2.5 minutes (150 seconds)
10 seconds= 5 minutes (300 seconds)
30 seconds= 15 minutes (1,800 seconds)- Etc.


Family history: She grew up with just her mom while her dad was in the Navy. When she was eighteen her mother passed away from cancer. A month before the particle accelerator she was told her father passed away, was given his dog tags, and never takes them off.
After the particle accelerator accident: Everything seemed normal until she was shoved aside during Clyde Mardon’s bank robbery, and she accidentally made it rain on herself. After that she tried with a few other normal people and also temporarily gained their abilities each time. She’s afraid of the power though, and now wears gloves and avoids using it at all.
Current life: She lives alone in a small apartment, works part time at a small bakery, and has been researching science and medical topics that could possibly explain her ability. She figures the change in her blood type is a good place to start- after the accident her blood type was changed to an unexplainable mix of O negative and AB positive- she can give and receive blood from any blood type.
