Dusty Crophopper - Propwash Junction
As Dusty took in his morning gas ration, he could see other aircraft starting to arrive, most likely for the show. Wow! Talk about eager and early attendees! It made him feel kind of self-conscious that others would be showing up so early just to see him perform, but he knew that came with the territory. It seemed like there was a modified air tractor like himself touching down on the runway, and a chopper was inbound as well. Also showing up was Foxtrot, one of the Jolly Wrenches who was staying in town on an extended holiday.
Dusty chose to greet the F-18 first, as he was closest, having called out to them and asked if he had slept in too late. "Not at all!" Dusty replied, chuckling as he did so. "Morning Foxtrot! I actually was up pretty early, so... you didn't sleep in!" he explained, shifting his gaze to the two aircraft that were rolling over to the Fill N' Fly. He didn't recognize either of them, so they had to be coming for the air show today. "Huh..." he said, turning to kind of face in between them, as they were both approaching from oblique angles.
"OK, Duster, you're all set. Gassed up and good to go!" Chug declared, retracting his nozzle to allow Dusty to move away so that the next in line, Dusty's new boss Mayday, could receiving his morning ration. Already the denizens who were rising were staring to head to the gas station for their morning fill. Dusty decided to greet the newcomers, seeing as he was prominently placed to do so. He wasn't sure how gushing they would be over him, or indeed if they'd even recognize him in his firefighter paint scheme, but only one way to find out.
"Morning you two!" he said cheerily. "Welcome to Propwash Junction! Are you here for the air show?" He asked, looking between the two of them as he rolled forward a bit.
Finn McMissile - CHROME Headquarters
The briefing room that Abby had rolled into doubled as a lecture had, and had stepped back rows for cars to stand in and listen to the lecturer, who would usually be at the head of the room in front of the giant monitor that dominated the wall. Shortly after she arrived, Finn McMissile drove in, looking up at her and noting that Shadow Carlisle wasn't here yet. "Hello Ms. Tessari." He greeted her smoothly, a serious look on his features. "I'm waiting for one other. Soon as she gets here, I'll start the briefing. I know you're a trainee... but do you know who I am?" he asked her here, stopping in the center of the front of the room, and turning to face the stacked rows that loomed above him.
