Newt || I hold out my hand ignoring the stench of fear coming from the box. "The name's Newt, greenie. Welcome to the glade."

I stood up and shook his hand. I looked at the other boy, who had just jumped down. I-I'm Lily.. I say quietly.

Thomas
I smiled and shook her hand. I'm Thomas, or as Newt calls me, Tommy. I say with a smile.


(That could happen, Thomas will be out running soon.

(Sure, they can run together. Maybe Tommy's just having a lazy day... c:)

Newt || I elbow Thomas, jokingly, then ask, "Should we do the tour now, or tomorrow?" I look up at the sun, and try and work out how long we have left of the day.

Imogen || I run. It's all I ever do. Run. I'm not running from anything but my past. I can't get away. So I just make myself useful in the maze. I don't want to go home, but anything's better than this, right? I have snippets of memories from before the glade, but... They're not good. I don't care. I can't be trapped like a mouse any longer. I want my life back, no matter what the cost. I won't stop running.

Minho was at the Map room, sorting out maps. He had heard the siren but decided to finish off before going over. With a sigh he finished off the last batch and stretched. "Finally!" He jogged back towards where he saw a small crowd.

Imogen || Finally, I return to the glade, and enter the map room, ready to draw up the day's findings. It shouldn't take long. Just as I open the door, I see Minho leave, heading for the box at a jog. I might go and see the greenie later, but I bet we won't get on. I never seem to get on with anyone.

[The Aristocrat]

Samson went into the map room with Imogen after another mostly successful run. He had noticed that she almost never talked and wasn't that friendly with most people. "You never seem to talk. Mind telling me why?" He asked her. He doubted she would even answer but it was worth a shot.

Imogen || I look at Samson. A hostile look crosses my face and instantly I felt bad, opening my mouth to say sorry. But what to say? I shut my mouth again and shrug, trying to make my face look as sorry as possible. I finish drawing up my map and file it in my case. No patterns. I look at him again, and words come to my mouth for the first time in a while. "I.. I just don't." My response is quiet, hoarse and meek - it doesn't sound like me anymore. "I have interesting nothing to say." I sit down at the table again.
