"I haven't shot one before, but I had a pretty sweet compound bow a few years back. Dad got it for me, but he never let me use it for anything but target practice. Wouldn't take me hunting because he didn't like the idea of it. How'd you afford the crossbow?" She asked, curious as to whether or not he had a job as a kid.

I smiled, I would have sung along but I know I'm a terible singer and could never sing infront of anyone except in the shower.

"Well ill show ya how to use one" he said walking out into the field. "As a kid it was my dads old one but two years ago I was able to save up the money from my jobs and what not plus help from Merle his gift to me on my birthday was 100 dollars and the hunting knife."

Carl Grimes

he stopped and gave her the guitar back. "here knowing me if I hold it any longer I would break it" he said thinking about her violin.

I looked over at him, "oh, so your just going to stop playing?" I felt slightly disappointed. I took it back and placed it in the case.

Kathryn smiled, following him to the field as he explained how he'd acquired the crossbow. She was excited to learn to use it.
"Jobs? how many did you have?" she asked him. She had only ever had one job, and that was on a farm near her house exercising horses. They'd had over 30, and she'd ridden every single one every other day.

"It was about me and 3 other guys." he said smiling. "It was cool" Talking about hunting and what not was his prime ask him anything about the crossbow he could talk to you for ages.

Carl Grimes

He lightly grabbed the guitar and started to play a random beat then thought about the song he liked to most to play and stated to play the tune of "Sk8tr Boi" by Avril Lavigne.

Chloe Pearson

She smiled and put it on her finger. "Oh it's so cute thank you Cal!" she said twirling around in the grass with her arms waving everywhere and her hair.

Cal smiled and nodded."Your welcome."He said softly.Cal sat down on the ground and brushed his hair away from his face.All the while he watched Chloe with a smile on his face.

She sighed looking at her hand with the flower and smiled again at him then picked up Lucifer and started to spin around knowing he would hate it but it was fun for her. She smiled setting him down. "Sorry but I had too"

"Probably like 15 if you count all my teen and when I should have been in College jobs." he smiled.

"15 jobs? I only had one before all of this. It was fun, but really tiring. It was about all I was able to do for the day at times. I was homeschooled, so that made it easier," she said, returning his grin. She barely ever saw him smile, so she was glad he was actually willing to today.

He sighed rubbing the back of his head looking up at the sun. This whole world was so gloomy. It was making him that way or making it worse. Sometimes he felt fine but others he remembered his family the way they acted and Merle... Oh how he missed his brother but would never dare tell anyone.
