Growling softly I stood and approached him from behind throwing a roundhouse kick to his head. It was a cheap shot but I couldn't help myself. I had a quick temper and everyone knew it.

He had expected it- Jinx had the hottest temper of anyone he'd every met. Ren put up a hand and let her kick his palm instead. "Calm down, Jinx. I was joking." He said with a wry smile.

Athena got a bowl of cereal then headed up to Check on Jinx and Ren. She knocked on the door to Ren's room.

Riley just kind of sat in a corner, rolling her eyes slightly as Jinx tried to roundhouse kick Ren. "Idiot." She muttered to herself, not really caring if anyone heard. She tipped her head back until it rested against the wall and sighed. "Can we like, do something productive, or something to kill the time?"

He glanced at Riley. "Eat breakfast?" He said, his stomach growling on cue. Ren backed away from Fang, keeping his eye on her just so he wouldn't get hit.

Athena knocked again, this time a little harder. "Hey, you guys gonna have breakfast of what?" She Shouted a little muffled because she had find in her mouth.

Riley

Riley shrugged her shoulders, until her stomach growled loudly. Freaking stomach. She thought, heaving herself to her feet. "That seems like a perfectly legitimate plan. Food is good." She said, plodding into the kitchen and rummaging around. "Hey Ren," She called. "Do you have any idea how to make waffles and bacon without like, burning them to a crisp?" She asked; she couldn't cook for her life.

Rolling my eyes I walked backwards until I was just in front of the same window I'd come in through then I fell backwards letting myself free-fall through the air. No one seemed to understand the importance of always being ready. Letting our guard down for even a second could be our downfall and as much as I hated to admit it, I was afraid of loosing anyone in our weird little family even if it seemed as if I didn't care about them most of the time. I didn't snap my wings open until I was just 3ft away from death and once I did I regretted it. It hurt pretty bad but I ignored the pain and shot up into the sky.
