Personality: Underneath his cool, calm and collected exterior, Spade differs greatly from all others. He manages to discreetly stay apart from the crowd, even though the has a well-earned reputation for being a socialiser. He will let others get close, but only so close as he wants them. Some claim that trying to get your point across to Nate, should he not want to hear you, is rather similar to talking to the trees – he simply won't budge. And, there is no such thing as an open-book Spade. His feelings, fears and desires often run far deeper than anyone around him would guess. Like the butterfly that chooses to remain hidden in its cocoon until it is ready and prepared to emerge, so his true spirit remains hidden behind a veneer of day-to-day activities. That's why Nate is sometimes regarded as snobby, withdrawn, boring, or even sulky. 
The truth is, when spade manages to operate very adequately on his own form of automatic pilot, he can switch off from the world around him very efficiently. And when he does switch off, he is actually gathering in his inner reserves to deal with the outside pressures.
Because he hates to be put in jeopardy of any kind, he strives to create tomorrow in advance, rather than leave it to fate.
Spade is quite the rebel. He doesn't care what others say, and will often do the opposite of what someone tells him, just to show that he has his own mind. He will blow you off if you try to insult him, as he honestly doesn't care what you think of him, but will rip your head off if you mess with one of the few people he cares about.
Due to his sometimes violent nature, Spade doesn't have many friends, as most people think he's kind of a jerk. If someone were to take the time to get to know him, they would find that he's just a big, misunderstood, lonely teddy bear. He's very sweet and protective over the people he loves, even willing to give his life for them.
Once Spade is committed to a relationship, he is totally devoted and faithful. Should his heart or trust be broken, he will never forgive or forget. When a relationship breaks down (even a long standing one) he can disappear into the sunset without a backward look. Spade can cut ties, and leave others heartbroken, but usually there is a good reason why he has broken a tryst. For him, when a relationship is over, really over, it is over for good. 
He is extremely complicated as far as his personality goes, making him difficult to understand.

I'm really hyper and I have ADHD. I act really silly and moronic, but that is because that makes life fun! I'd like to think I'm smart, but I'm not sure. I always got straight A's in school. I don't think I brag a lot, but I like to impress people. A big part of my life is peer acceptance. I'll do a lot to make sure people think I'm cool. Which.... sucks.
History:
Well, I grew up in a box. My parents weren't there. So I lived in this really cool box, under a bridge. I was always bullied and made fun of in school because I had no parents, and I didn't want to go to an orphanage. I grew up a thief, stealing from stores for clothes and food. I have a criminal record for that. I studied alchemy, and black magic, but failing when I tried to actually use it. I was a rough kid for a while, starting to beat up my bullies, eventually becoming a "cool" kid, but when I came to school one day, there were pictures of me in my box. Everyone bullied me again, and my life went down hill from there. Right after summer break started, I moved to where I am now, trying to start over. But, hopefully my story hasn't reached to many people.

Shiloh fixed her pigtails and grinned as she flipped the sign in the cafe to open. It was a nice start to a new summer, plenty of sun, customers, and, of course, boys. This was her season to shine, after work, she'd grab Pixie and they'd run to the beach for a bit and hang out. Her brown eyes sparkled as she turned around and headed behind the counter for the next four hours, and she pulled on a maroon apron. She smiled wide and started to take inventory of the ingredients, waiting for Pixie to come on in. Hopefully, she wouldn't be late.

Tigran yawned as he stretched out his arms, then fixed his glasses. He was going to spend the next hour or two mooching off of Shiloh's free Wi-Fi at the cafe and then take a walk for a while. Today he had plans, great ones. He'd head to the club tonight and try to work some magic on the girls, so he needed his energy. Really, that was his only plan, so he'd have a whole day to spend lazing about. The bench was a comfortable spot for now, but he'd have to go and do something later until Shiloh's shift ended. His ears perked forward to catch any sound while he wasn't paying attention, and his tail flicked from between the planks of the bench.

Pixie rushed to the cafe, running down the sidewalk with her pochette hitting her side with every stride. Not only would she be a little late, but it was her first day! She stopped at the door of the cafe, relieved to see Shiloh already inside and organizing things. Pixie gave a quick nod and quiet hello to Tigran and walked in, heading to the staff room to get ready. Opening the door, Pixie hung her pochette on the coat rack and pulled on an apron before meeting Shiloh out in front.

Dave sat in a tree quietly in the park, his wings behind him and held onto the branch carefully with his talons. He was out of sight for the time being, something he was happy with. The red eyed crow boy hopped down from his tree and started walking back into the woods, knowing that the people would soon fill up the park on the first day of summer vacation. He stretched out his arms and wings as he walked back, going in the direction of his home.

Danger walked down the sidewalk, headphones in, head banging to his music, and whispering lyrics. He looked around every once in a while, making sure he didn't hit anything or anyone. "Summer va-ca." He said aloud, wondering if anyone heard.
