He slowly opened his eyes, and upon awakening, could feel the coldness of sheets. Kaito sat up in a bed that was probably a little too small for his height. Not to mention, it wasn't very comfortable either. He gradually took in his surroundings, alert now. He acknowledged that he was in a house, but who knew where. The room Kaito was in was rather bleak and empty. There was a window directly across from the bed, and from what he could tell, it was dawn. A few rays of sunlight pierced into the room. Now that he could see better, he became aware of his appearance. Kaito was wearing a long white, yellow, and blue colored coat and some brown pants. A bathroom was to the right of the window, and he slumped out of the bed, over to it. The bathroom was just as bland as the rest of the bedroom. He could see his reflection in the mirror. His short blue hair was in a mess, some locks fell over his aqua blue eyes. Kaito hastily washed his face. At that moment he realized how quiet everything was; dead quiet. He found it almost unnerving. As he patted his face dry, he decided that he'd take a better look around the place.

Through the eerie quiet of the halls, a piano played. It's deep notes echoed sweetly through the building, ringing through the walls and doors. The notes flowed steadily and smoothly, some quiet, some loud. Some were delayed, and some were small and quick. The sound was beautiful, a wonderful sadness that wandered like a haunting melody, drawing each heart and soul to its source. It tugged on every heartstring, each sound carrying to what would seem a mile away, fading, growing, continuing without fail. The player of this song carried through with quick, long fingers, sliding expertly over each key with a touch of pure harmony, pouring his soul into every long note. The song itself was his own reflection, drawing the entirity of his attention. His glassy black eyes gazed onward, to no particular destination, half-lidded and pensive as each rare blink brought together dark, long lashes against pale skin. The whiteness if the room caressed his black locks, equally matching that of the ebony coloured piano itself, the tune floating on with the breeze from and open window, ruffling the bright red tie laid across his suited chest. He knew of no one else, of nothing else, but only of his song.

The melody brought one particular creature to open his crystal blue eyes, golden lashes batting for a bare second before widening themselves to allow for a full view of the boy's surroundings. A white room met his gaze, and he blinked once, tentatively, before shifting his small, gently built hand. He felt his skin brush against something soft and cold, and his head turned, the sunlight catching on his golden hair. His eyes fell upon a sleeping girl, her face peaceful and her body as still as death. Her golden hair was spread across the pillow wich cradled her head like a cloud of silk, and was disturbed only by a small white headband adorned with a bow, like a rabbit's ears. She wore a white, sleeveless shirt, and dark shorts that barely reached halfway down her thighs. Her skin was milk-white, and as he lifted his hand, he realized that he, too, was pale. As his head turned to the window, he caught sight of himself, a mirror image to the sleeping girl, and felt his heart leap with a deep note from the eerie song, a feeling welling in his throat, uncomfortable, but not disliked. He felt the words form in his head as he stood, the will to sing, and he knew. He was Kagamine Len.

After a few minutes of blundering, Kaito entered a long hallway. He could hear the sound of a lovely piano melody. Following the direction of the music, he found his way into a large, grand room. A man with jet black hair sat at the piano, attentive to only the song he was playing. Kaito stood not too far away from the hallway from which he came. He didn't want to feel intrusive, but just wanted to enjoy the music playing.

A young, blonde teenage girl layed in thebed, her short golden hair spread out on the pillow all around her. Her eyelids slowly rose as her eyes opened, revealing the crystal blue color that layed withen them. She blinked, confused at where she was. Her eyes stayed focused on the plain white cieling for a few second before she finally decided to sit up. Her golden locks fell perfectly into place as she sat up. She looked down and saw that she was wearing a short, loose, sleeveless white shirt and short black shorts that only reached about midway up her theigh. She blinked again, confused on why she was wearing these clothes. She looked over and saw a boy with similar colored blonde haired boy looking into a mirror. She was at the right angle to where she could see his reflection in the mirror...and hers too. They both had the same crystal blue eyes, the same shiny blonde hair, even the same porciline skin...there was only one difference between them. She had a crisp, white bow perched on the top of her head while he had bangs going in all sorts of directions framing the upper half of his face. She didn't know what was happening. All the questions rushed into her mind. "Who is this boy...and why does he look like me? Where am I? How did I get here?..." Her thoughts were silenced though as she heard the beautiful melody of notes faintly drift into their room. She listened to the melody, soon finding herself humming a different tune, like the song was missing a vocal part. She didn't know why she felt the urge to add the part in, but somehow...it felt right.

Miku can be very sweet and loyal to the people she is close to, and will always try to cheer her friends up. There is almost always a smile on her face, even when she is in pain or truly upset. She can be quite aloof and out there, but is actually quite smart.

Flaws:
She hates to show weakness, or really anything but happiness, and will not cry or yell. Usually, the anger bottles up in her until she explodes, throwing a raging fit which can sometimes involve broken objects and scratches and bruises on a person's body. Although she is intelligent, her common sense is lacking, and will often leave cabinets and such open, as well as not think things through. Due to a small glitch in the programming, Miku has cyclothymia.
