Thana Valdis
The day was absolutely sweltering hot. Honestly, it was as if we were all baking inside a giant oven, and I disliked it quite a bit. Most people would say it was a perfect day, but I simply thought they were just crazy or something. Obviously this was a day to sleep in a bed of ice, and goodness I could go for a cool glass with that ice in it. Except maybe minus the fact somebody metaphorically slept on that ice, as that would be metaphorically gross.
I swatted the air quickly, trying to cool myself off, before digging into my small drawer (another thing I had finally gotten, thank the Gods!) and pulling out my bathing suit. I couldn’t exactly change right here, so I made a quick trip to the washroom before coming back to dump my previous clothes back in the drawer.
Taking out my only towel, I headed over to the lake, feelingas if I were on fire because of the sun. I probably was burning up, and I decided I officially hate that big golden orb. Shaking my head once again, as if to rid myself of the heat, I arrived at the lake.
James Kato Linn
James slipped his legs over the side of his top bunk and took a flying leap to the wood of the Hecate Cabin, landing with a thump hard enough to rouse anyone still left in the hot, sticky air of the cabin. He had really seemed to have overslept. He threw on a loose V-neck shirt and some shorts before glancing out the window, this would be an excellant day for kayaking. But, he didn't have the time. He had to practice with his weapon, just as he did every day. Taking a stone from under his pillow, heheaded to the Training Arena.
