Jordan smirked, nodding. "Gee, thanks." Suddenly she felt the sharp pain in her head again as Kudo said he hadn't expected that to happen. Or so she thought. Wait, as in he hadn't thought she would ever be a good runner? Or was he surprised about something else? "Wait, you wern't expecting what to happen? Me be a good runner?"

Kudo turned his head slightly to glance at her. He... hadn't said that. He'd thought it though... what?! "Jordan, I didn't... say that.'' He blinked at her, now even more mystified and.. weirded out. What I just think happened better not have shuckin' happened...

Jordan felt her cheeks heat up, turning somewhere between a pink and red. "Oh. Sorry, I must be tired or something." She mumbled in embarassment. She trained her eyes on the ground, the sharp, grinding pain in her head easing slightly. "Well, what do you think happened?" She mumbled with a slight edge to her voice.

Kudo tensed slightly, heading her mumble. He tried not to show anything. You can... Hear me?
He pretended to be talking.

Jordan nodded. "Yeah, of course I can hear you. I'm not deaf or anything." She said defensivly, giving him a why-are-you-acting-like-such-an-idiot kind of look.

Kudo suddenly stopped, taking a step back and staring at her cautiously. "Are you... okay, Jordan? You just... responded to my thoughts.'' He swallowed, trying not to majorly freak out.

Jordan put her hands up in fornt of her, skidding to a stop. Once it fully registered what he had said, she started to laugh. He had to be kidding. "Ha, yeah right. I'm fine, though." She laughed, grinning. "You have to be kidding, that's not possible."
