Azura sat beside him, "This has been a horrible day for you hasn't it?"

Alex wrapped his arms around her in a comforting imbrace. Rubbing her back soothingly. Though he was still tense, and slightly saddened from this, Alex was not crying. Sorrow filled his eyes though, but he'd probably been sobbing if he had known the animal better.

"Yep... but it's been one of the best too," Julian half-agreed with Azura. Looking over at her, he managed a tiny smile and leaned over to her. Giving her a small kiss on her cheek, he moved his head a little to the side and whispered to her ear, "Meeting you brightenned up my cloudy day."

Juliet hugged him tightly, yet gently at the same time as he rubbed her back. This let her relax a little, and let out her greif in a silent sob. The only thing that was showing that she was actually crying was her chest expanding and turning to normal in an irregular pattern.

Azura smiled slightly at him, "Im glad I could cheer you up a little." She said softly as she looked into his eyes.

Alex could feel the irregularity of Juliet's breathing, but knew that was just because of her sobbing. He kept rubbing her back softly.

At first, Julian could hear his uncle yell, then he all ready carried the shot gun by the time Scar came in demanding for one. "Take it," Julian told his uncle, handing Scar over the shot gun. He turned around and saw Azura tense. From afar, Julian can hear the noises Burlow was making out of agony, and he can tell that Juliet could too. Walking over to Azura, he stroked her back and flopped back onto the couch, his eyes clouding in sadness. "There's nothing to fight about," Julian muttered, looking up at Azura with softly edged, sad eyes. "It's okay."

Unlike her brother, Juliet clung onto Alex, burying her head into his chest as tears slowly seeped out of her tightly shut eyelids. What timing, someone finally comes back and their favorite horse is dying.

Scar slowly turned, a single tear was shed, as he disapeared out into the darkness. His favorite horse.....was going down swingin'. He stepped outside and went to tehs tables. He tensed when he saw Gamella in Burlow's stall, but when he saw that she was stroking the poor dying stallion, he relaxed. "Thank you, Gamella for staying her with him. Unfortunatly, it's time for him to go..." Scar's voice was shakey as he got into the stall, and looekd at Gamella. "Go ahead...Gamella. Make sure you take out all his blood....okay? And do it fast..."

Eventually, she turned her head away from Alex's chest to wipe away some tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry I got your shirt wet..." She apologised. When she felt Alex rubbing her back, she looked up at him with a faint smile on her face. "Thank you."

When Julian looked over at Azura, he stroked her cheek with the back of his hand. "And I'm glad you're next to me," He told her, smiling a little.

Azura smiled slightly and looked at him, "Im glad I'm here too."

Alex smiled a bit. "It's okay." He mused, answering both of the statements. It was sort of sad that they gained an uncle and lost a favored pet.
