Lissa was about to answer, when the guards started leading her and the other creatures away. She followed bored my, and went back into her cage, though she still wondered about the necessity of it anyway. She wondered slightly why Varias had run away, but didn't ask. Back in her cage, her blood red eyes looked around, her head flattening itself to stick itself through the bars of her cage to look at Soren. She made a questioning sound toward Soren's cage which was right in front of her, as if asking if he was alright.

Varias looked at Ryu for a few seconds in silence before he replied. "Thank you, but it's fine. It's been some years from now... I think about seven years, but I'm not sure... He was the only true friend I ever had. So, somehow I know your feeling a little." He looked away from her eyes, he didn't like those direct looks that much...
"After my friend died, I became a trouble maker..." he said, breaking the silence. "I don't know why I did that... Maybe it was a way to hide my true feelings... Who knows..." He looked at her again.
((sorry for the rather short posts. I tryto reach the limit, but my shoulder hurts, it's overused... So I type with 1 hand))

Daniel blinked a few times, as if taking care to put Asher's image in focus. He finally narrowed his eyes and realized who was waking him, but then closed his eyes again. A low pitched growl formed in Asher's throat, and only a minute or so later he opened his eyes again. However, this time Daniel had a weary look in his eyes. He was completely and utterly exhausted, barely able to form his next sentence.
"What are you doing here?" He muttered almost under his breath. Asher could catch a slight accent he had been unaware of before. But this was only a passing thought to Asher. He leaned down to Daniel so that the other boy could hear him clearly without much effort.
"I came to make sure you were alright first off... I can't have you down if we're to ever get out of here." Adverting his eyes as he finished; He hated openly showing his emotions. Daniel couldn't know how lucky he was to even see him like this. Before his face could flush with embarrassment, he continued on in a rush.
"And I wanted to know if you found out anything useful from Freak. I need to know quickly before I'm missed, or I'm seriously screwed."
He tapped his leg impatiently waiting for his drowsy reply. When it didn't come fast enough for Asher, he continued, "You can sleep later, but I kinda need to know now!"

For a few seconds he thought he heard a growl come from Asher but shook the thought off when he heard him, a growl of frustration since he probably wanted to be asleep as well, that’s what it sounded like in Daniels mind of course. As he opened his eyes again he could finally see Asher and what he was talking about. As he listened to what the boy said he couldn’t help but let a small smile appeared on the side of his face.
“What else can he do to me? I don’t think there is anything left” Daniel whispered finding some more strength. Of course this might come back to haunt him, he only hoped that he could get out of here once he was awake, even with the little amount of strength he had he still was determined. “Leave the door open and I’ll get out of here” he muttered after a few seconds. Just a few more seconds of sleep and he might have some more energy. Closing his eyes he slowly started to fall back asleep before he heard Asher talk again. It only earned a groan from himself, but regretfully he opened his eyes to look at Asher.
“He has mind power thing” Daniel muttered not really remembering the name that Freak said. Something about television? He wasn’t to sure at the moment. Struggling against what his body wanted Daniel pushed up against the cot and the floor so he could try and stand up. It was wobbly and unbalanced as he stood up but he managed to do it. “He can take you out with pressure points” Daniel whispered wondering if it would help. Yawning a little he slowly started to move towards the door, wanting his fire powers once again. Blinking a few times to make sure his vision didn't focus on a different object he smiled a little when he got closer to the door. "Television, Telekin? not to sure" he muttered trying to think of the name that Freak had called his little powers. At the moment his memory wasn't up to it's best standards since he was thinking about something else.

When Freak was younger, he used to have a dart board. It was located on a cluttered wall in his house. The wall was full of decorative things; things he had picked up at random thrift shops and found on the street. He placed them strategically around the dart board until the wall was full. A few times every day, he would throw darts at the dart board. He would throw the dart with his hand, but use his telekinesis to make it hit the target. He would throw it with all the force he could muster, making it extremely hard to keep it on the right path. It was hard and exhausting work. More often than not, he would end up hitting and breaking one of the things around it. But he worked on it every day, and by the end of his 10th year of training, he sometimes purposely hit the objects surrounding it so it wouldn't be so boring.
This is what was on the old man's mind while he held Daniel to the wall. Not the fact that it felt like he was using the pressure point on himself. Not the fact that he had gotten up from his spot on the floor way too early. Not the fact that exhaustion was on the brink of completely overcoming his body. But the memory of an old dart board. He thought wearily that it was a terrible last thing to focus on. However, if his brain had been working, he might have noticed that it was actually an okay last thought to have. He was thinking of it because of the minor amount of effort that had taken compared to opening a simple door. Maybe Daniel was right. Maybe he should work on it more. Even if it had taken him 10 years to get to that point. Who knew how much had changed since then? Maybe his ability wouldn't be as stubborn as it had been then. He might never know if he kept leaving it alone.
The next few moments were somewhat of a blur for Freak. For a few minutes, he left reality. He seemingly entered a different version of reality, where thoughts were non-existant and all that could be seen was a blue light. Voices echoed faintly in his new reality, but they were unimporant and alien-sounding. He wasn't afraid. He didn't feel anything. But occasionally, feelings of surprise came through the blue image. Surprise that he hadn't felt himself hit the ground. He was sure that he must have by now. Come to think of it, he hadn't heard Daniel fall either. Someone else must have come into the room. Questioning thoughts began to fill his exhausted mind, but not for long. The blue shade overtook him again, and he forgot what he was thinking.
This cycle repeated itself for a few minutes before his conciousness returned to his control. He could hear Aasiyah's voice, but it sounded far away. Unable to move, Freak took a quick recon of himself. He must have passed out, or at least gotten pretty close to it. From hearing Aasiyah's voice, he guessed some of the guards had carried him back to the keeping building. He hoped they had kept Daniel down there.
After a few moments, Freak tested out his movements. He clenched both of his hands into fists and wiggled his toes. Everything seemed okay. He still felt tired, though, so it definitely wasn't time to sit up just yet. His ears were still working on coming back. The words people spoke were still incomprehendable. "Daniel. . ." he muttered, hoping Aasiyah would understand what he meant. Assuming she was actually there. His ears might just be playing tricks on him.

Soren raised his head, his dark eyes flashing with emotion as he watched Lissa be put in her cage. He remained watching, and it didn't surprise him when the dragon-girl poked her head out of her cage and stared at him. When she made the sound, a smile twitched on the corners of his lips. He had no idea why he found it amusing...but he did.
"I'm fine." He responded to her, an almost soft expression on his face as he studied Lissa. It was quite intriguing how the girl couldn't shift. Had she always been a dragon? Was she born a dragon? Or did she discover her ability as a human, and was stuck? Memories flashed before him as his childhood came back to him. He had had a similar experience, but it had only lasted for about two days when he discovered his power. "You can talk to me in my head if you want. It startled me the first time, is all. " He told her, his voice gentle.

Aasiyah Sari Valeska || Worker
At first she was hopeful has Freak was waking up, but then he spoke of the fire boy Daniel. Growling low in her throat she started to dap his face with the cold towel just a little harder.
He’s obsessed with this kid… she sadly thought to herself.
He is going to throw all of this away just to show up a boy half his age… Afraid she was going to actually hurt him with the towel, Aasiyah stopped and backed away. She left him in bed, all wrapped up and warm, and went to the window.
Sitting down she overlooked the grounds and quickly closed the curtains. There wasn’t anything out there she hadn’t already seen and nothing would ever truly change.

Lisa's nodded, looking at the male. (forgot if he gave his name or not XD) he seemed intrigued, or amused. She preferred to think of it as intrigued. The boy seemed slightly more relaxed, and less agitated, which was good. When he responded, affirming her thoughts, she nodded in a 'that's good' kind of way, before looking at him again as he started to speak. After he was done, she started conversing in his mind again, a little relieved. Conversing was hard when the other did not speak your language. Oh, okay. Her instinctual self was slightly assured when he spoke in a gentle tone. So far, she liked this place. No one had started screaming at her or calling the police or calling her an accursed beast or anything like that. So then, why was everyone so sad? Varias had even tried getting out of there. She decided to chance asking. What happens here that makes all of you want to leave so much? I mean, I just got here, so I probably wouldn't know, but so far, other then the really cloying scent of the flowers and the fact that we were put in a cage... It has been alright, hasn't it? she asked quietly, cocking her head slightly to the side as she spoke.

"That's a tough question." Soren murmured softly, the words of Lissa catching him off gaurd. He had never been asked that question before...not that many people talked to him anyways. He hesitated as he searched for an answer. Finally, he opened his mouth and spoke again. "It's different for everyone." He murmured, turning away from the dragon girl. He searched his thoughts while he stared off into the darkness, wondering what the truth was for him.
He stood slowly and walked to the front of his cage, the dim light hitting his face, and casting a dark shadow across his face. He looked lost and confused as he spoke once more to Lissa, a hand gripping a bar loosely. "I don't like it here because I have no control over it. I'm forced to live in a cage, I'm forced to be here, I'm forced to do everything here. Maybe I would do it anyways...but it's the fact that I have no control over my life...is the reason I don't like it here. That...and we're hear to be used. To be turned into weapons, or things that we're not. And when Freak is done with us, he'll toss us into the garbage can, and take the credit." Every word that Soren spoke was soft, quiet, and firm. He truely believed in what he said, and it was evident in the way he looked, and the way he talked.
"And....Freak took my freedom away. Nothing is more important to me than my freedom." He whispered. His words were almost inaudible as he turned and stared at something only he could see. A troubled expression appeared on his face, and the shadow across his body almost seemed sinister for a few moments. Seconds later, he had snapped back into reality, and was staring at Lissa for her reaction to his words.
