Once the elevator got done and moved back to the first floor, I decided that I was actually hungry and got off. I skipped to the dining room and entered to see the Badger tribute eating. "Hey, mind if I join you?" I asked him, still in a good mood from my elevator ride. I rocked back and forth on my feet again, waiting for an answer.

I couldn't fall asleep, not for a minute. I got up and walked to my bathroom, where I got undressed and entered the shower. Or, tried to. My wings were wider than the shower was, or at least the part I entered, so I ended up spending ten minutes before I could get my wings to go behind me for a minute to I could get in the shower. I looked at all the buttons, some labeled or colorful, some not. I hit a bunch of different buttons until I figured out some stuff about the shower. I washed my hair and something occured to me. Am I suppoed to use soap or shampoo to clean wings? When I couldn't decide, I just used both. I got out and got dressed. I decided I'd need every chance I got to master flying and controling my wings, so I left my room, my hair still damp, got into the elevator and rode down to the gym. I was glad it was big and pretty open. I picked a pretty clear area and unfurled my wings. They were big alright, bigger than any bird I'd seen. I tried moving them by moving my arms, which sort of worked, but looked awkward. Then I tried moving my shoulder blades alone, not my arms. I smiled. "Victory!" I yelled, throwing my hands in the air. I looked back to look at my wings and saw the kind of wind that them flapping were making. A couple of cans of paint had fell over, and some other equipment too, so I stopped. I looked around and found a bunch of mats that must be for hand-on-hand fighting, so I drug those over to make a line of mats that I might be able to land on if I were to fall out of the air. I flapped my wings once, then again and I started running. Then, when my wings were beating quick enough, I jumped. I was getting tried fast, and my flight was really, really wobbly, so I decided to stop flying. How do I land?! I shouted in my head. I gulped and slowed my wing beats and I found myself in a crash collision coarse with the floor, so I bent my knees, and braced myself. I flapped a little less, and I half landed half fell on the mats. "That was......great." I said, my tone brightening up at the last word. I walk across the training center to leave. I was now tired and ready for bed.

Echoes the beating of the d r u m s
There is a life about to start
When t o m o r r o w comes!
Do you hear the people s i n g?
Lost in the valley of the n i g h t ?
It is the music of a people
Who are c l i m b i n g to the light!
For the wretched of the e a r t h
There is a flame that never d i e s
Even the darkest nights will end
And the s u n will rise!
