Sorina nodded in agreement, stretching her arms out beside her. "The Stonehenge is the only place with such Deep Magic in this world." She turned her eyes on the stones, watching and listening as they hummed. "It makes me wish I lived in the ancient times, but those legends only exist in books now." What a time that must have been, when all the four realms were together. Sorina would give anything to see it, to live just a day when the magic she felt here was a little more...accessible, she supposed.

But there was no use dwelling on such an impossible thing. Normally, Sorina would try harder to get exactly what and where people and books tel her she can't. In the past, that's what she had been known for, and what changed her life. Time-travel, especially to such a distant time, was definitely out of her and anyone's reach. It was just simply impossible.

"Oh, you worry too much." Sorina whispered back, giving an encouraging smile to Aden. The Dark Elf seemed composed, but Sorina was very good at retaining composure herself, and guessed that he was actually extremely concerned on the inside. "No one in their right minds would kill you during a Peace Ceremony. Maybe afterwards, but not during." She gave Aden a mock curtsy to lighten the mood, her smile growing wider. "Besides, I am technically your guardian right now. I'm here to vouch for you, and while I am only a palace mage, my word should have some weight with at least Windhelm."

Aden flickered a glance to Sorina as she tried to ease his worry. "Yeah right." Aden looked around as he was beginning to be noticed by nearby knights and their mounts. A griffon and his rider seemed to had noticed already and he could hear their whispers as they talked about his being here. "You think it's the hair? I think it's the hair. You know I tried to die it once? Turned out that didn't go to well..." He smiled as he joked to lighten the mood "Oh I know what it is. It's the dark skin and the white hair, it makes me stand out like a sore thumb. Or maybe the ears? You can't tell really but my ears aren't as pointed as most elves since I've got a little human in me." His voice was light as he gave her a smirk and continued to watch the ceremony. It was dazzling how this ancient place just came to life with the words spoken and two kingdoms joined as one for a short time. Rugin seemed to be having the time of his life as the bird danced from stone to stone as the magic enveloped him. Aden's eyes grew somber however as he truly took in the scene. "You all keep a tradition that promises so much...why did the immortals stop coming here? What happened so long ago that they gave up on man?" Though he was talking to himself really, Aden's voice was soft and full question. "You know sometimes I wish I was a full human. None of this half cr*p that I'm cursed with. Humans have such short life spans but in truth you have accomplished and kept so much of what makes you who you are. Where the elves have retreated because their too d*mn afraid of change." Aden kept a cool composure as he looked to Sorina and the other knights. What did it mean to truly be human? It seemed the very image of that was being played out before him as the ceremony continued on and a small smile creased his thin lips as he crossed his arms to watch in contemplation.

[I don't understand why you can not see it. The front page is always visible unless your on a phone or tablet maybe? On the front page in the first post under the rules it should be in the code box towards the bottom of the first post for you to select all the coding.]
