He took her hand without asking and pulled her away from the woods. He'd had a feeling someone was watching them, and could faintly make out muttters in the trees beyond them. It wasn't the ideal place to stay, knowing they were being watched. Who knew what might be in those trees? Scientists? Elizabeth? Formosa? Could be anyone, or anything. Shawn smiled over at Grace as he led her alone, glad for once that his nerves had settled and he once again felt comfortable around her.

"So, I've just realized that you know my power, but I don't know yours. You don't have to show me, or tell me, but I'm curious." Shawn told her, his joy seeping into his words as he spoke. Being outside with Grace just made him so happy and carefree, it was felt somewhat odd. Maybe he shouldn't be this happy, but he was.

Gently swinging their hands, he didn't even think that maybe Grace didn't want to hold her hand. He looked over to Grace and smiled again, bigger this time, showing off teeth again too. She really did look nice in blue, both shades, ad the ruffled looked cute on her too. Shawn glanced back ahead of them and walked on.

Usually I 'ain't the one to brag. But the music won't let me hold it back. So, guess what you 'ain't got nothing on me.

Austin backed up quickley as the bear snapped its jaws. This stand still was getting boring. He calculated the odds of getting to at least touch the bear without getting his limbs snapped off. It wasn't good odds what with the fact that animals were so much quicker than humans. The bear obviously wasn't going to just leave the girl to attack him. He really didn't realize how desperate it was for a meal. Sure all animals are protective of their food but this bear was overexaggerating.
"Come on Sweetie." He said assuming the bear was a girl. He firgured that because it was mostly female animals that go after humans in the wild. The males are usually to scared/smart to mess with the top of the food chain. His eyes darted to the girl once again. She seemed knocked out. He thought over his odds again deciding the best coarse of action would be to use his powers. If he could get the bear to move away from h the girl it would be easoer though. With one touch, if his powers were willing to cooperate, he could knock the thing out cold hopefully not killing it. He was just afraid that the bear would fall and land flat on top of the girl crushing her. "Come on girlie." He called again ushering with his hands for it to come away from the girl. "I've got something better, wait and see."

This is taking longer than necessary, Jimmy thought to himself as Austin talked to the bear, which didn't seem to respond much to his words. It just roared and seemed to get even more stubborn; unwilling to leave his prize. Honestly, Jimmy wanted to know why the girl was even out here in the first place. She could have been exploring or whatever, but far enough out for a bear to get her? And her powers? Why didn't she use her power to kill the bear and save herself. After all, that was why they were all stuck here. They had powers no one else could have. Jimmy shook his head and shrugged away those thoughts. Just a distraction. He didn't know how much longer the girl had to live while being stuck with that bear, and he didn't want to wait and find out. Jimmy had an idea and didn't know if it would work, but if it did, it should allow Austin enough time to run over and kill the thing. After all, he must have had a plan of his own.
Jimmy quickly turned himself invisible and ran towards the bear, staying on the left side. He wasn't stupid. The bear would probably still smell him, but it's not often you can turn invisible and actually help somebody. He normally used the extra power to entertain himself, or practice making it last longer than the mere minute he could hold it. Creeping his way behind the bear, Jimmy quickly made himself reappear and slapped the back of the bear before taking a few steps back. He only needed it to back off of the girl so either he or Austin could end it. "Come on, bear, time to move!" he shouted, unconcerned with making himself sound quiet or safe to the bear.

The Bear

The bear growled taking a step forward at the first human. He could see it was planning a attack on it, not that it made the bear change his course one bit so it just standed there sizing each other up slowly for a few minutes.

Although, the bears ears caught a soft flick of a bush twig when the second boy moved around, and the bears right eye moved to follow him. Though even with eyeing him it a second his body faded into nothing, as if it was never there. The bear was shocked its head turning back to the first boy with its growling paused at what it seen happen, but maybe it was dream so it turned back towards Austin ready to begin to take him too asa meal for later. Then just as the bear was about to drop to fours a hard slap grabbed the bears attention jerking its head to behide him to see the red haired kid standing there again. It growled turning to face him quickly as he spoke its body still standing tall before roaring down at him. The bears was growing annoyed by the humans persistance. No more nice bear. With a soft huff from his chest it dropped down to the earth a loud thud sounding around, and thankfully for the girl away from her body this time.
Looking up at the human it began to charge at the male its eyes watering from its power, as well as the tight breathing of his chest as he pushed air quickly into its lungs powering the big ton forward at the human for the right kill. Its black claws scrapped aross the ground as it charged.
It looked up as it ran one last time wondering if this human would beat the best of it, or not.

Austin was shocked to see the boy suddenly appear behind the bear. He hadn't realized there were other kids in the lab building with abilities. He mostly thought it was animals and rejects. Whoever this kid was his abilities were much more useful than his were. at least he was able to get close to it without getting a limb torn off. But this bear was way to persistent. Way to intent on its next meal. Also surprising the bears sudden change in focus. Maybe it had ADHD to? He thought jokingly to himself. At least it was away from the girl now but now it was after the other kid. Which was awkward to say because this kid was obviously older than Austin.
As the bear lunged at him Austin took the safe guard off his hands. This being totally metaphoric. He ran at the bear his body moving on its own as adrenaline coursed through his veins. He was so glad he decided to leave that building. He jumped up mid air, at the bear landing somewhere close to its behind on its back. He almost slipped off but before he did he sent an energy through his palms into the bear. Sleep! he thought before slipping off the bears back and rolling up next to the girl. He rubbed the side of his face where the sharp sticks on the ground had scrapped him. he watched the bear waiting for it to fall over, hopefully not in a dead heap.

(kind of hard to explain my powers without power playing the bear...)

Bear

Not breed for just killing.

The ran at the boy his claws running quickly acorss the ground in movements that where harder then any of a human, but sadly when he heard another movement behide him he payed not mention to it its eyes focusing on just the kid who touched his fur. Which now was standing like spikes. Just as he began to get into a few feet the boy who must have seen it jumped onto his back his fur sending messages of a attack. The bear stopped to a halt feeling the body hold on tight to his back with its hands, and the bear was trying its best to throw the boy off without getting attacked itself. Then, softly, a small sence of power came into his mind. It was powering only sending a message of 'sleep' into his mind, and withouth even knowing his body began to grow evermore tired. It was hard to stay upright when his limbs where obeying, and soon his eyes flickered closed as well with its body laying down on the ground with a tiny thud from its weight. It was sleeping.
Mind was cleared, tired, and its pay for this was a good rest like it wanted to do. Sence was knocked form its mind as he dreamed of prey as well as runnign aroudn though the feilds, so thats what it did as if fell. It fell into the power.
