Ash rolled her eyes at Anamerak as she landed, pulling her wings in, though they still drooped a little. "Please, don't act stupid, Aname..." she murmured softly, noticing how interested he seemed in everything. She turned to Alhar some, letting him lead the way once more, as she wasn't really sure where they were going. She very nearly smacked herself as her mind began putting memories and wants into her head, memories like the woody scent she had smelled when she had landed behind Anamerak earlier and wants like the want to be close enough to catch it again. However, she forced those thoughts away, as she didn't want to deal with them right then.

He shrugged, grinning again. "I wouldn't do anything stupid. Pro-" He was distracted when he noticed something glittering at a market stall. He started at it with wide emerald eyes before turning back to Ash. His eyes turned wide again and he grinned like a child who got caught. "Promise." He finished. He tilted his head slightly when he noticed some people looking at him maliciously. He met teir gaze and they looked away in disgust. He looked back at Ash confused. What had he done? Now that he looked, everyone seemed to look at him with resentment in their eyes.

"If this place is like my home then... my kingdom is less than a hundred miles to the south but right now we need to find an inn. The Salt Breeze should only be a little ways down this street." he said simply, wondering where exactly the inn was. He hadn't had much time to come to Noray since he became a paladin. He looked around and did his best to avoid bumping into people though they seemed to shift away from the almost seven foot tall man that waded through there midst.

Halomaru watched as she pleaded and looked down at her as she got to her knees. He then got down on one knee and looked at her with a small nod. "Fine. But after you, I want to know about my family next. I just want to see their faces." He said, now being serious. He was quite unstable. His personality and his mental state would fluxuate wildly, just because of Elenwen. She really did leave an impression on him. Something like that was something as rare as the blue moon. It was a pretty interesting phenomona that no one in Hagruph would have believed. Halomaru was sticking around here. If the sun went down and came back up and Halomaru stayed, then he himself would have to question why he stayed. This was rather strange...

Mayia finally got up and tried again. She took both of her staffs and braced herself as she charged away from the river. In an X formation, she burst at the barrier, the shock scroching off her sleeves as she tried to force herself through. It looked crazy, yes, but she could see the wall as she forced her way through it. The thing shattered out of determination, her wings spread from her back from the stress. The second the barrier was gone, she held both her staffs and flew up to the sky, smiling. I-I did it... I can't believe I did it!! She thought to herself, stunned. She couldn't hold it in anymore. She yelled out happily and flew high above the mist, gliding on the wind. "Oh my gosh!!" She shrieked happily, her voice shrill.

Elenwen's face lit up. She threw her arms around Halomaru neck and hugged him, "Thank you." she said, she might finally get to know who she was, what the last name Elinora meant. She smile, he didn't know how many necromancers she had asked the same question to, and been turned away. She soon pulled herself away though, feeling acward again "Um..." she said looking down and blushing "There is a city not far from here, I was telling you about Noray." she said simply, staring at her shoes, feeling rather embarassed.

Ash sighed softly, moving closer to him and reaching up on her toes, so that she could speak without being heard. "You are a wood elf... This is a city... You don't really belong and most don't think highly of wood elves..." she murmured softly in his ear so that only he could hear her. She gave him a small smile as she backed away, not wanting him to get discouraged by it.

Halomaru had fallen back when Elenwen suddenly hugged him and watched her with a stunned expression. After she pulled away with blush on her cheeks, he smiled and pulled her back to him, basically crushing her against his chest. "You're welcome." He whispered into her ear as he ran his hand through her hair. "We can go to the city any time. Why don't you say we rest here? Just for a little bit." He said in a soft, alluring tone as he held her. This was the first living thing he felt close to. This touch was nice. After a second, he took in a deep breath and smiled, smelling the cinder and ash no matter how sick that was.

Mayia looked around, glancing towards the ground. She saw the smoke rising and coughed as she continued on. There was a shop in a city nearby. She would have to go and get some herbs. The pouch around her waist was empty, and Mayia needed pain numbing herbs so that she could get through her... life.

The wood elf shrugged, the smile never leaving. "Why would they hate me? I've never been in a town and not all elves are the same anyways." He said, equally quiet. He was aware how close Ash was getting and it made him feel...different. It was a strange feeling, one that he wasn't used to. He chewed on his bottom lip as he continued to follow Alhar.

Ash sighed, shaking her head some at how naive the elf boy was. She began to follow them again, not wanting to fall too far behind. As who knew what people in this town would do to a lone Sulent that looked far too broken to be repaired half the time. She soon managed to catch up to them, walking slightly behind Anamerak, not wanting anyone to sneak up on them.

Elenwen opened her mouth but then burried her head in his chest, she would love to stay here for a while as long as they stayed out of sight of the wreckadge. She felt safe, even after all that had happened, all the confused and the loss over her people. She still could feel their loss but with Halomaru here she felt like the terrors that had caused that were a million miles away. She wrapped her arms back around him, she could feel his warmth, it was much more welcoming than the cold of the mist.

Alhar came up in front of the Salt Breeze and was nearly pulled to the ground as a man came flying out one of the windows. He raised an eyebrow but what could be accpected this wasn't the real place. He sighed and opened the door, the terrible smell and heat wafting out to hit him like a ton of bricks. He staggered back a pace but then regained himself and entered.
