Juniper watched Benji with wide eyes. The big strong boy who had risked his life for her and Melanie countless times was now replaced with this vulnerable, emotional one. indentationBenji winced when he saw the wound. It was pretty bad. "Hey. Hey its okay shhh." He tried comforting her. The boy grabbed the antibiotic cream and lightly rubbed it on the wound. "I'm trying to be as gently as possible, just relax. Okay? It'll feel better once its covered." He spoke softly as he worked, his hands ever so sightly grazing her skin. The next thing he grabbed was some gauze. He laid them on the wound gently and lightly pressed so the cream would cling to it. "Sorry! I know that hurt. I'm sorry!" He apologized quickly. "Okay, now that's done you can sit up so I can wrap the bandage around your side."

When silence fell over them Benji decided to speak. "Soo..H-hey I know everything sucks right now but..But I'm glad its with you. I really like you..your drive. Yeah..Plus we make a good team!" He covered his words quickly. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!! What are you saying you IDIOT!" His inner voice yelled at him. Benji looked Juniper in face. "You're pretty...pretty neat! Yeah pretty neat!" The words slipped out and he also covered them up. Mentally he was punching himself for even opening his mouth.
