Vesper got fairly well through the book when she folded down a page and put it away. It was kind of interesting, but not what the girl was looking for at the moment. She returned to lay back on the couch, hoping to take some sort of a nap before dinner. All of the introductions, exploring, and flying wore her out, so it wasn't long before the girl fell asleep.

Calla gently took his hand and stood. She slipped her hand out of his and flapped her black wings once. "I am fine with flying." she replied. Her blue eyes glanced up at Cedar then down at her shoes. She bit her lip slightly. "I am fourteen." she replied.
