(all the students are in power control class doing testing right now.)

Coach boomer looked awed by the wings as well. He stepped back, then told her to fly. The object of her test was to either avoid or destroy as many flying plates as possible.

Cameryn watched as students showed off their powers. She looked down, thinking her powers were stupid and that she would possibly be placed as a side kick. Who needs a girl that is 5'2", shy, and their best power is controlling emotions?! No one!

Alex watched everyone show off their powers and rolled his eyes. This part was so lame!

(Nothing Alette is being tested right now and we are all in the auditorium)

Alette pushed her wings down and jumped about twenty feet in the air. She flapped her powerful wings once and let them fly her straight up. She rose for a few hundred feet in under a minute. Then she glided around and tucked in her wings, dive-bombing at over two-hundred miles per hour toward the ground. At the last minute she pulled out her wings and shot up again. Then Alette glided down into the building and kicked and punched every plate that was thrown, and she zing-zagged around the air. Finally she went down about twenty feet from the ground and tucked in her wings, did a flip and landed on her feet perfectly. It was funny, she was used to fighting for her life.
She just shrugged and told the coach, "Hawk-DNA."



Ian raised an eyebrow.
"Oh...." He smiled and said.
"Nerd?"
